Big Brother is getting closer by the minute care of the Californian legislature. A Bill has been presented to make it illegal to provide or sell material (books, papers etc.) that speak of sexual orientation change.
So...not only is it illegal to provide help, it is going to be illegal to promote it in any way.
For example, a young man speaks to someone from his church and says "I am homosexual and don't want to be" and the person gives him a book to read as a first step that tells the story of someone who was a homosexual but no longer is, that person could go to jail under the new law.
The fact that the book shows conclusively that you can be free from homosexuality is irrelevant. All that matters is Big Brothers tentacles spreading all over the subject and what he says goes, despite the fact that he is wrong.
The homosexual cartel who is behind this push is not the slightest bit interested in what is right or wrong. All they are interested in is imposing their ideology even if it is a bunch of lies which it is.
Rev. Dr. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, has said that this California bill seeking to ban material offering sexual orientation change is the worst example of anti-religious discrimination he has seen in his entire ministry. "California's AB-2943 is the most egregious and discriminatory example of anti-religious legislation that I have witnessed in all my years of ministry. First, I am deeply troubled this profoundly flawed bill has already passed the California Assembly and now sits with the Senate," Rodriguez said.
He goes on to say that AB-2943 would give California "terrifying power to target and punish all those who hold a traditional, biblical view of marriage and sexuality." "It is certainly anti-Bible and anti-Christian, but it's also incompatible with the other major religions including Judaism and Islam. We repudiate all vestiges of discrimination and bigotry against any of God's children, without exception. We must not allow AB-2943 to progress any further legislatively. I urge all those who count as sacred our right to freedom of religion, to stand against this terrible bill," he argued.
Of course, this means that the Bible is under threat with this legislation as no one will be allowed to quote it in anything to do with freedom from homosexuality.
If this Bill goes through what is our choice?
One. To give in and do what it says.
Two. To stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free and ignore the law at every turn.
For the true believer there is only one course of action open to them and that is number two.
