I have been undisclipined in Study of God's Word, but since Sunday have been more focused etc.
Last night I read the following and the highlighted parts really spoke to me.
Luke 1:2-4 Luke writes his Gospel to Theophilus. Theophilus means loved of God.
Luke said he searched out and investigated all the events accurately to write an orderly account for Theophilus.
Luke wrote his Gospel so that Theophilus may know with certainty of those things in which he was instructed.
Romans 15:4
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
