Be Patient; Jesus Is Coming

If you've been praying for something repeatedly, putting your faith in God, asking diligently & preparing yourself for something, and it's still not coming, remember--Jesus has a habit of waiting around before going to people's aid.
Perhaps this is best illustrated by the death of Lazarus, when Jesus waited a few days before going to heal him. Another example could be when Jesus was 12, and his parents lost Him, and spent a couple days looking for Him; Jesus is God, He could've guided them to Him right away! Also keep in mind when the Apostles were fishing all night, and couldn't catch a single thing; then, in the morning, He appears on the shoreline, and tells them to cast their nets on the other side of the boat. He could've done that at any time; why wait?
The opening of the book of James tells us: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perserverance." (James 1:2-3) The first 2 chapters of Job are another indispensibe lesson in perserverance, and Patience is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
Remember that God is coming, your prayers will be answered; but take advantage of the time you have now, to deepen your faith, to keep turning to God. Be thankful for this stretch of time, and you'll find that there's far more treasure right now than you ever thought before.
