Be Christ-like

Today is a new day and a new opportunity to serve the kingdom of heaven. Many will make the claim that they will do this later on because they do not have the time right now, or that they have to get their life right with Christ first. This forces us to have to answer the question of what does it mean to be Christ-like? If someone claims to be in Christ (and truly believes they are) they are called to be humble servants of the kingdom of heaven daily while surrendering their own needs and wants.

However, this kind of life does not fit into the comfort zone of far too many claiming the title "Christian" today. That is why the whole definition of what it means to be a Christian has been substituted by a life of religious practice played out in the lives of countless people in todays local church system. This is illustrated in part in the graphic below. "Then Jesus declared, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is fit for the kingdom of God." Luke 9:62
