Being thankful is the easiest way to pray. Praying drives away evil. Driving away evil makes us happy. Being happy makes us thankful and then we pray about it and then it drives away more evil. Occupation is a good way to spend your day. Those who don’t labor find ways to be occupied in thought. Being occupied in thought is no less exhausting then being occupied in body. It wears and tears on every bone and muscle.
One man works the train yard and has contempt for the book writer. The book writer is envious of the one who can say he had a hard days work. They both go on living wishing to be each other.
I observed two young men. One lost his father young and learned to work hard and he gained a wife for himself in which he loved deeply. His neighbor had his father his whole life but never knew what hard labor was and he was never able to care for a wife because of it. But like was said, this young man thought a lot and wrote many books and songs and gained respect for himself. But at the end of the day, no one allowed him to take any credit for it. It’s still very respectable for both men. People work hard because they know they have to eat and sleep. So thinking is very strenuous and leads to all sorts of mental disorders.
Obeying the one who sends you is a good thing because it means that your motives are pure. Do things for your self too much leads to greed and all kinds of selfishness and evil. So it’s easy to see that God disciplines those he loves. He keeps his children from endless ruin.
Having pure motives makes your conscience clean and you start to win awards you didn’t even want. If you wanted them, you probably wouldn’t have gained them. So the Lord awards those who give Him credit.
Giving is all that matters and God is giving endlessly. He doesn’t mind when a writer writes a whole book using the Spirit that He gave him to begin with and then wins all sorts of awards and takes the credit himself. But God will call him to account even if it were just to save his son from greed. So God is always giving and the credit always belongs to Him. Jesus proved this with his life. Yes, Jesus proved God.
This is true because Jesus gave and gave to his own hurt. Don’t be surprised to see him as a Mighty warrior/king in the next generation. Yes, the Father and the Son will prove everyone false. This is to our own benefit. It is only those who give that will receive so everything is fair and just.
Shallow thankfulness, what is it? It’s when we start to demand what we are freely given instead of asking.
I think perhaps God had asked me in heaven before I even got here what I think my life should be and then he said very well and sent me here. Then I got here and got envious of every last man I saw. Then God finds me once again in Heaven and says what didn’t you like about your life on earth?.. and says very well than go and again I find something that I’m not happy with about the life he gave me. That’s why time and time again we come back asking for balance trying to find the perfect life. But everyone when they come to the end, tell their maker that it was perfect. I would have to agree. Because when all is said and done everything was so very blessed by God our Father.
Don’t be fooled by the word balance. All it means is that you are trying to even out what is already crooked. the Bible says no one can make straight what God has made crooked. Balance will happen on its own because God is faithful. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Almighty likes the joker here and there because of how faithful he is. Why doubt what God will do forever and ever? God is good.
The Bible also says don’t lean on your own understanding. So faith and love is really important. Believing in God get’s a man out of his ways and makes him go places he never imagined, even if it’s only in his heart. Yes the train worker and the writer will both go places they never thought possible. This hard earth will lead to everything amazing once we get to Heaven.
If you want to enjoy these days, enjoy that faith is an option. Because in Heaven everyone will know where they come and where they go. Jesus will even be your best friend. Even days are often lived out in the dreams the night before. God is nice to us when he erases our memory. It’s like being reborn. Heaven is considered paradise but think of the freedom we have here on earth to go to any religion we want to. It’s like God created a land that could never be created. He is so very good. I even had my chance at being a sinner without any guilt. God cleans up like a parent at a nursery. We are nothing more than babies but maybe it’s a good thing. If I had my choice at any faith I choose Jesus. Because of one word. Death. When you face it alone you are are nothing. What good would it be if I had nirvana seven times and never had a friend? And I hear in heaven we receive nirvana a lot more than seven times.
