  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

  1. Glorify His Name in All the Earth

Pass Me not O Gentle Saviour "Pass me not, O gentle Saviour. Hear my humble cry. While on others thou art calling, do not pass me by. Saviour. Saviour. Hear my humble cry. While on others thou art calling do not pass me by. You know LORD. Sometimes my problems just overwhealm me. And that's when I really need to seek your face. Heal my wounded broken spirit. Save me by thy grace. Saviour. Saviour. Hear my humble cry. While on others thou art calling, do not pass me by. Saviour....
  2. Grow Up into Him in All Things

4 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one...
  3. Walk This Way

Being a Christian is all about making decisions. Each day we are faced with choices. Some are what to wear and what to eat which are both important choices but some are who are you going to call. Everything we do and say sends a message to the world. It is either a message of hope or a potential disaster. At the entrance to our door we have a mirror. It is to remind us to take one last look before we go out the door. Did we remember to comb our hair? Check our teeth for green spinage...
  4. God's Purpose in Revealing Himself

When God first started showing me signs that He was and that He was a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, I didn't fully understand why He was "showing" himself. I thought, what can I do with this "knowing" you LORD. I can praise you for your presence in my life. I can call upon you in prayer. I can seek your face. I remember how frightening it was and how I remember asking, "What is going on?" because it was out of the realm of what I was used to in our relationship. Then I got...
  5. Another Praise

Every Saturday like clock work my son calls me. He is in his 30s. Today, I told him about what happened to me yesterday at the eye doctor. I told him that I thought it was a miracle. "Mom", he said, "You don't know the half of it. I just talked to Dad." (my ex) "And he had his eyes checked two days ago and they too were better." "What?" I just don't think that is a coincidence. I was married to that man for 28 years of my life. Thank-you LORD. For healing him too.
  6. Praises

God is so good. His mercy endures forever. I love how the day starts out cool here in the desert and then gradually warms up. It was such a beautiful day yesterday. It is often nice here and may have gone unnoticed except for one very interesting event. I went to the eye doctor and had my eyes checked. I hadn't been since August of 2010. The optomitrist told me that my eyes improved three whole prescriptions in both eyes. Really? Now what are the possibilities? It could be a...
  7. My Bible

When I was a child, at my eighth grade graduation, I received a King James red letter edition of the Holy Bible as a graduation present from a neighbor across the street. I was very careful with its' thin pages and proudly put my name on the cover page along with the date. Every day I read it, and marked it up all over with underline. Some of it was so good I just underlined the chapter number at the top when I had finished it. I remember how the words would just jump out of the page...
  8. Ptl

104 Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. 2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: 3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: 4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: 5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. 6 Thou...
  9. Breaking Cycles

There are times in our lives when we get into ruts that are extremely difficult to get ourselves out of on our own. These are times when we need the prayers of others to lift us up. God wants us to pray for one another. 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Eph 6 tells us we are to watch with perseverance. What is it we are watching for when we pray for each other? We are...
  10. Gratitude and Grace

Chapter 1 Gratitude and Grace Practice makes perfect. This book is for Christians who want to attain the financial serenity that they deserve and it is also for non-Christians who want to learn what is all the hoopla surrounding Jesus Christ the son of the living God. Financial serenity begins with a spirit of gratitude. Being grateful for all of the things you have already attained. Being grateful first for the vision God gives us in nature of “how” to be financially serene....
  11. Awakening the Heart

Chapter 2 Awakening the Heart Tithing So did you count your debt to God? Do you even know the amount you owe? In this chapter, “Awakening the Heart” the emphasis is on tithing. Tithing is sowing to the Spirit. Leviticus 27:30-34, “And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or the fruit of the tree is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord. And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. And concerning the tithe of the...
  12. No Scarcity

Chapter 3 No Scarcity God’s Providence Can you imagine never wanting for anything, ever? Wouldn’t that be a dream? I Tim 4:8, “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and that which is to come.” How can we be godly? Godliness with contentment is great gain. Phil 4:11 “Not that I speak of want; for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” I Tim...
  13. Recession or Depression

Chapter 4 Recession or Depression Keeping your wits You are feeling down because there is more month left at the end of the money. There is a saying that if your friend is out of a job it is a recession but if you are out of work it is a depression. How do you keep your wits about you with no job or no prospect of a job in sight? When you find yourself in this precarious position you can see the wonders of God’s love, mercy, and grace in your life as you truly look to him from day to...
  14. Carved in Stone

Chapter 5 Carved in Stone Budgeting for the bullheaded Many people feel that their life styles are set in stone. The way they eat, the way they dress, where they live, what they drive define who they are as a person. For many people there are no compromises. Life is one continual party. They are slaves to debt, slaves to want. Tossed about by every wind of doctrine. For some it is a weakness. They gamble, they drink, and they do drugs. The activities they...
  15. Need vs Want

Chapter 6 Need vs. Want Facing the truth. I consult with clients on a regular basis to help them assess their goals. It is through this process that we prioritize and differentiate between need vs. want for them. Through this chapter I will help you too. In the first part of this process, I want you to imagine your whole life as one unit and then as a hundred parts. The reason is because you can’t have all that you want the minute you want it but if...
