There are people who say we all need to spend time with God, in prayer. But I think we need to be sharing with God, all the time, not only during prayer time. But during prayer we can get closer to Him, then how we become in prayer is our example of how to stay all through the day. Quiet down, be in His peace, enjoy Him, get needed correction, and then how we are in His love is our standard for how to be with God and submit to Him even all the time.
"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)
So, we are pleasing to our Father, by being gentle and quiet in His love. This is how we become, in our character, more and more as God corrects and perfects our nature. So, this is all the time, how we can become in our character so we are always His way . . . more and more with growing and correction.
All the unquiet things, then, can be the design play of Satan meant to keep us from personally sharing with God; many anti-love things can keep our attention away from enjoying You while submitting to how You rule us in Your own peace > we all are "called in one body" to be ruled by You in Your own peace >
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)
In love's prayer, we can get to be this way, then stay this way all the time . . . better and better, please, O God our Father, how You win in us and have us succeeding in this. Thank You and amen in the name of our Lord Jesus Your Son.
