Those who bear the ark of the gospel carry the presence of God.
Acts 10:38, 'How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; FOR GOD WAS WITH HIM'
All the exploits in the life of the master were tied to the PRESENCE OF GOD that was upon his life. The supernatural accomplishment in his ministry was due to divine accompaniment. This 'divine accompaniment' is a blessing enjoyed by everyone who takes the word to the world! This was the path the apostles took, they took the word to the world and it got to a point that they 'turned the world upside down'
The world could not stop them because, 'If God be for us, who can be against us'(Romans 8:31).
The presence of God is our divine immunity for total security.
And one of the ways to enjoy this presence like the Apostles did is by taking the word to the world. When Jesus gave the great commission in Matthew 28:18-20, He told them to preach the word to the world and then he gave an assurance of his presence as he said: ' AND LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD'! What an assurance of divine accompaniment that leads to supernatural accomplishment!
God’s presence will level any mountain of life (Psalm 114). God’s presence shields us from life pressures and tells our heart,' be still and know that I am God'.
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; 2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. 3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. 4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. 5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, which ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; 8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters(Psalm 114:1-8).
