“The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1 (NIV)
As Christians, we have been granted righteousness as a result of our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We now stand as bold as the lion in our confidence that God is in complete control. There is nothing more powerful than our God! No matter what our circumstance is in this life, we are secure in our eternal existence with Jesus. Though we may appear to be weak as the result of the enemy’s assault, we are in fact more powerful than all the demons in pursuit.
“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NIV)
Praise God for sending His Son! Praise Jesus for pointing the way! Praise the Holy Spirit for walking with us each and every day. We are greatly blessed! Our mission is to share that blessing with others. The enemy is working hard to get everyone fixated on selfish desire and it is our duty to stand firm while helping others find their way to Jesus. In God’s power we can accomplish extraordinary things. When we work together, God’s power becomes an overwhelming force that can have a great impact on this world. Let’s continue to work together to boldly proclaim the name of Jesus.
“Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith— to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.” Romans 16:25-27 (NIV)
