Anger Gives A Foothold To The Devil

26 And don’t sin by letting anger control you. 27 Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. —Ephesians 4:26-27 (KJV)​

Father in Heaven, Thank You for God's love from heaven above. Grant comfort and healing to those people who are afflicted with anger, suffering from anger issues, who are angry at the world and all that is wrong with it, or who are angry and just don't know why. Bring peace, comfort, and a joyful heart to those who cannot find joy and peace on their own. Heal them and bring your laborers of the harvest to lead them unto salvation if they have not yet found Christ knocking at their door. Heal them and cleanse them such that they begin to see beyond sinful pride, and humble themselves before the LORD, to repent and follow Jesus. May the Holy Spirit of God convict them, turning these angry people toward God, that they may find eternal and abundant love, peace, joy, and redemption in Christ Jesus. May God's will be done. In the name of the Prince of Peace. Amen.​
