All of these benefits were delivered to us by the blood: HONOUR, GLORY, AND BLESSING. And all the other ones we mentioned before, power, riches, wisdom, and strength. These are the blessings of the blood 7.0 according to the book of Revelation!
The songwriter wrote: “Calvary covers it all, my SIN and SHAME don't count anymore, all grace to the one who has ransomed my soul, Calvary covers it all". At Calvary the price was paid for our dishonor, reproach, and shame: it was the blood price! By the blood, the church was bought and ransomed from the hold of sin, shame, reproach, sickness, disease, failure and poverty(Acts 20:28)!
Paul declared in 1 Corinthians 6:20 that we have been bought with a price and therefore we should ‘glorify’ God in our body and spirit which are now the Lord's. His blood was enough to wipe our shame and bring us glory and fame! Whatever dishonors God and reproaches His name in your life now is taking away by the blood! Amen!
‘20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's’
That same blood brought us a blessing! The word says "blessing" here. The singular word blessing was also used in Galatians 3:13-14, Proverbs 10:22 and Malachi 3:10-11!
‘13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith’(Galatians 3:13-14)
‘22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.’(Proverbs 10:22)
‘10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it’(Malachi 3:10)
