All Believers Are Saints

Believers Are Called
To Be Saints

According to Scripture, saints are the body of Christ, Christians, those who believe in and follow Jesus. Saints are members of God's Church, with Jesus, the Bridegroom, as the Head of His Church and the saints are the Body of the Church, the Body of Christ, His Bride. All believers are considered saints. All believers are saints—and at the same time are called to be saints. Christians are saints by virtue of their connection with Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life.

6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." —John 14:6 (KJV)

Christians are called to be saints, to increasingly allow their daily life to more closely match their position in Christ. This is the biblical description and calling of the saints.

  • But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints... (Ephesians 5:3)
