Activities That Involve Intimacy With God

Psalms 22:3 indicates that God inhabits praise, this is further explained in John 1, in the beginning the voice of God spake forth all of the creation, this voice of God became flesh and lived among us as Jesus Christ. I switched out "word" with "voice" because of the KJV rendition of the Genesis pre-fall description of "The Voice of God Walking in the Garden during the cool of the day." This is how the word was there in the beginning, and how he inhabits our praises, because in the beginning he was the voice and spoken words of the Father, the Holy Spirit being the breath. So when you praise God, he inhabits those praises, this is an intimate activity in which to be with God.
.
Jeremiah 22:16 indicates, helping the needy and making just decisions when you're placed above others with the intent to know God when doing it, is an intimate activity between you and God.
.
If you feel that God is "really far away" try practicing the presence of God in this and similar ways to see how close he always has been.
.
Hope you're having a good day, filled with the love of his presence.
