Today is July 18th, and this just may be a "special day" for me. This may be a day of "transition" for me, as far as being on "Christian Forums". I thought I was going to use the "prayer wall" for this, but after reading the intended purpose for that, which is prayer requests and responses, I thought I should just use one of my own blog categories. Instead of answering prayer requests, or even giving prayer requests, I thought I would use this avenue as a place to pray without focusing on those things. Therefore in the future I will be editing the present makeup of this Blog Category to fit what I am changing it into. (This has now been done.) In the meantime, I will press on with the new purpose of this category.
Lord, yesterday Pastor made the statement "What blessing God is, is giving thanks to God." Though I didn't say anything, I took exception to that, feeling it is more than just "Giving thanks." Lord, what I think blesses You is...is being, saying, doing what pleases You. That is more than just "Giving thanks". When someone "blesses" me, it is not usually them "thanking" me for something. They may sing a song that blesses me, or say something that "blesses" me, that I really like. So if I want to "bless" You, I should think not just of being thankful for what You have done for me, but of what I can be, do, or say that You will like, and be blessed by. With that in mind, I will continue later in another blog, as I have to get ready to go to the mid-week Bible Study. I trust You will be blessed by that. I love You, Lord!
May I walk worthy of You "unto all pleasing," Col 1:10.
