A Productive Life In Christ

"Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit." (John 15:2 AMPC)

God desires and expects fruit from our lives. There is a particular fruit He is expecting from our lives as Christians. Jesus is the eternal fruit we must bear for God.
We must produce Jesus in all aspects of our lives. Anytime someone stops bearing Jesus, a question mark comes upon such life. He or she begins to cumber the space and resources. The Lord will have to remove him or her. Fruit-bearing for us is not optional, but a prerequisite condition for us to remain in God's service. May the Lord take away fruitlessness from our lives and cause us to bear fruit for Him.
When we begin to bear fruit, the Lord purges and prunes our lives and causes us to bear more fruits. He does it continuously in order to increase our productivity. Palm tree farmers do this a lot. At a certain time, they prune the palm trees thereby increasing their productivity. Much more than palm tree farmers, God cleanses and sanctifies every life that is fruitful in His vineyard.

ACTION PLAN: We need to assess our lives under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, are we productive for God?

PRAYER: Father, forgive my fruitlessness of the past. Grant me another chance to produce fruit for you.
