The Lord gave me A DREAM: My family wanted to celebrate the day that I got out of the US Navy (not me in real life) years ago, so we stopped at Brown Street Church in Akron, Ohio, the church I had grown up in. I believe we were looking for a different building, but that is where we ended up.
We went inside the church. The congregation was primarily African-American now, but there were a few Caucasian people mixed in among them, mainly people I knew who I had grown up with at that church but had decided to stay in that building with the new owners when our church moved to a new facility across town.
We saw a few people out on the steps and I peeked inside the sanctuary. They were still having their church service. I saw a few people I knew. One couple who periodically shows up in my dreams was Gene and Nancy B. Their last name is of German origin. Gene did not look like himself and he had a cigar in his mouth.
We went upstairs to a room that was like a fellowship hall in order to set things up for our celebration. My kids put signs around the room that we had used in a prior celebration, maybe 8 years ago, so I had them cross out the number of years and change it to 16 years, I believe. We brought dozens upon dozens of cupcakes with us like we were expecting to feed a lot of people, only these people did not know we were coming. The cupcakes had fluffy white icing, but I think there might have been some pastel colors mixed in with the icing.
Then, the congregation got out of the church service and they came upstairs and joined us in our celebration only they didn’t know the occasion for the celebration. A young couple came up to talk with me. They may have been African-American. It felt like we were in some type of alcove in front of a window. She asked me why we decided to have our celebration there. I told her it was because this was the church I had grown up in and my parents and their parents. She indicated that her family had also been there a long while (our church moved out in 1978). Nonetheless, later on in the conversation she admitted that she had not actually gone there yet.
I tapped one man on the shoulder whom I recognized. He acted like he knew me, but I didn’t think he really recognized me because he asked me if I wanted to sign up to go with the church on some event. I told him it would be a long drive from South Carolina. Then, I spoke with some women about the C&MA women’s retreat. They said it was meeting in April, so I decided I would put that date on my calendar. They asked me about my time in the Navy. I told them I just had to go for training for my job that I was beginning then.

There was another scene in this dream or another dream entirely where I was working in a baby nursery of some kind. There were three adults to three babies, so I was concerned that I was going to get cut. Yet, the boss showed up and she renewed or extended my contract. Then I was carrying a baby and the baby’s drink and my drink and I spilled the baby’s drink and then dropped my drink, but I don’t think it spilled. Then someone came along to help me. Both drinks, I believe, were red. The person helping me wanted to put the baby in a high chair, but I said something to the effect that the baby didn’t like to go in high chairs. This was at some type of large gathering of people, too. END
I closed my eyes to ask the Lord if I was missing anything, and then he gave me A VISION to complete the dream, I believe. Immediately I saw military officers dressed in brown uniforms. They were standing in a room around a table and it appeared they were discussing some type of plans.
Then, I saw Tom Cruise in a white dress Navy Officer’s uniform. I only know of one movie where he was dressed like that: A Few Good Men (good movie with one bad scene and you need a curse protector). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104257/
I asked the Lord if there was more and he was silent. Then, I heard “Capiche?” which I believe is Italian for “Do you understand?” In an earlier vision I heard “Comprende?” which is Spanish for the same thing. END

2 The LORD is a jealous and avenging God;
the LORD takes vengeance and is filled with wrath.

and maintains his wrath against his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger and great in power;
the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished.
His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,
and clouds are the dust of his feet.

"You will have no descendants to bear your name.
I will destroy the carved images and cast idols
that are in the temple of your gods.
I will prepare your grave,
for you are vile."
15 Look, there on the mountains,
the feet of one who brings good news,
who proclaims peace!
Celebrate your festivals, O Judah,
and fulfill your vows.
No more will the wicked invade you;
they will be completely destroyed.
My Understanding: This gathering is a celebration of release from the yoke of the US military, it appears, yet I must spend some time in prayer over this.
