A beggar off I-75
This is a piece (see address below) that I wrote a few years ago and was published in Christian Review. It is always painful to see so much pain and suffering in the world. Yet, we are all called to do what we can, even if it is with only one person at a time.
I used to drive more than I do now so I had to figure out what I could do. This is one experience with this issue.
Many people do much good when they come upon individuals who are suffering, yet it is just a drop in the bucket. Yet as Christians we must never forget that those we meet show us the face of Jesus Christ. When that is forgotten, we can lose sight of the dignity of all those we meet.--Br.MD
