Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

1. Hi!

Hi, Everybody! I've been really busy lately two weeks ago my family and I went to England for 2 weeks to visit my mom's family. And I've been really busy finishing up school! I can't wait until school's out! Love Kathlyn:)
2. Holy Spirt and My Dreams Part 2 of 2

Continue from previous page... However, this leads me to another topic, something that has plagued me for a number of years. Since May 2000, God started to speak to me either directly or through dreams. They are not frequent and He says very little words to me. It was May 2000, when my niece was getting her communion that a voice spoke to me. At this time, I was not married and was dating this guy (who we started to get serious and talked about marriage). My niece was standing outside her...
3. The Splintering of the Church

In 1054 the Roman Catholic side of the Church split away from the Eastern Orthodox. In other words, west split away from the east. Then in 1517 the Lutherans were broken away from the Catholic Church, or ex-communicated from them. Soon after that the church began splittering uncontrollably. Luther wrote about this: When the damage of individual interpretation of Holy Scripture had taken its toll Luther sounded as if he lamented what he had started when he made the following remarks,...

Okay - I'm slightly starting to figure this blog thing out. Here is a link to my last blog entries before the big change over here: http://christianforums.com/showthread.php?t=2396513&page=14 Hard to believe I haven't made in entry since the beginning of April....

Now that Ive found a comfortable place to blog, I'm starting over. Thought I'd bring a few favorite pieces from LiveJournal over and see how they fit. How awesome to be able to blog without getting trash mail or propositons! Feels like home. Think I'll hang out. Enjoy! Izzy
6. Defending the right to expression through conservative argument?

Some people have been members of this website for years longer than I have, heck I have only been a member for a month or so, but many issue’s arise with surfing around. I noticed that some people are extremely upset that they are soon to be stripped from the right of debating certain topics. I’m not saying that channeling your thoughts through questions and factual statements is a bad thing at all. I am saying that today we have this great technology at our fingertips which allows for us...
7. Uh

:mmh::frozen2: Well here I am writing something. I don't even know if I feel like doing this. Actually I feel like doing nothing, & everything. I feel constrained: by time, by my own limitations, by others... I changed my status to sad, but that's really not the best word, and blah isn't exactly it either. I'm feeling rather down, emotionally & physically- but not sad exactly. That's it. I feel I have so much to do- to take care of, and that I'm not doing them right/ the way I...
8. Amen

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8,9 How Blessed are we? How Blessed. Thank you Lord
9. What Kind of Pleaser are you?

Heard someone talk about the 3 kinds of pleasers in life: self-pleaser, man-pleaser, God-pleaser. A self pleaser is one who is self focused at all times. Self absorbtion and self indulgence are the characteristics, with little or no concern for anyone else in their daily routines of dealing with ppl on this earth. These are the road ragers who will flip someone off for almost anything that affects them (after all, they are #1 and more important than anyone else!) and think nothing...
10. Forever Friend

I am feeling so bored... I am praying for a forever friend - life partner, I have so much love to give..heehee... its nice to have someone committed. Friends are different, they come and go, and some even disappeared without tendering their resignation! Thank You Lord for Providing... :amen:
11. GM bailout

This peice could uses some work, but I'll probably just let it go at this (otherwise, I might find it to be work-like): I strongly disagree with hardliner Republicans on this one. The reason GM is faltering is that it has obligation to the retirement of its past workers, which impacts how competitive it is. This may make it a dinosaur, as in, it is being a responsible citizen for it previous employees, while attempting to compete with younger businesses with few such obligation, possibly,...
12. Christmas

Here's a side to the Christmas story that isn't often told: Those soft little hands, fashioned by the Holy Spirit in Mary's womb, were made so that nails might be driven through them. Those baby feet, pink and unable to walk, would one day walk up a dusty hill to be nailed to a cross. That sweet infant's head with sparkling eyes and eager mouth was formed so that someday men might force a crown of thorns onto it. That tender body, warm and soft, wrapped in swaddling clothes, would one day...
13. where will you spend eternity?

Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead...
14. When the World Falls Apart

Tuesday, January 27, 2009, 7:50 a.m. – The Lord began our time with this song: Still the Cross / FFH Sometimes it seems the world’s unraveling around us We fear it all may one day come undone We can’t forget the One who came before us To forgive the past and bring hope for what’s to come When it all comes crashing down The cross still stands alone And on this our faith is built And our courage is made strong When the world falls apart And you fear for your heart There’s a tower of...
