Do you think there's a difference between the two? I am of the opinion that if one is a true Christian, a new-creation-lead-by-the-Spirit Christian then one will naturally (given their new nature) exemplify Christ-like actions and behaviors. What do you think?
Having an encounter with God is an amazing experience, wether you are new to the faith or not. The following are the types of encounters you can have:
- Holy Goosebumps.
- Warm waves of electric pulses moving up and down your body.
- Radiant heat that comes to a part of the body or all of the body.
- Drunk in the Spirit.
- Kabod (a deep heavy type of relaxation).
Personally I get the goosebumps, the warm waves and getting emotional....
Hello, i'm here because i'm interesting in understanding the Protestant point of view that contends with Catholic teachings. I myself was raised in a Protestant church and heard all the anti-catholic statements, I've always been one of those who wanted to refute the Catholic church however upon reading the Bible carefully, I'm beginning to think that most protestant beliefs against catholic practices are a bit wrong, which leads me here to see what your thoughts are in regards to some...
I found the following text in this Brigham Young sermon.
It says that there is A SIN that Jesus Christ's blood is unable to atone for and that a man's blood must be shed for.

This thread is to get Mormon feedback of why they believe that all Christians are in apostasy to God.
Does the bible teach a flat earth? After studying this topic I've personally come to the conclusion that yes , the bible does teach a flat, enclosed, geocentric earth. Instead of me posting all the bible verses pro-flat earth, I would like to hear the verses against the flat earth. Or even evidence outside from the bible.
Commander Xenophon, if you have any questions about Mormonism, you're free to ask. Like I said, Mormons spend lots of effort to answer questions. The only things would such down conversation are (these apply to all conversations about all subjects with all people, nothing Mormon specific):
1) If you (generic 'you') approach the intent to bash/insult/disrespect another's faith, in violation of 1 Corinthians 13.
2) If you're uninterested in listening to the answers (such as just wanting to...
