I just wanted to share something my fiance' came up with. She is a jewelry designer and has a shop with her daughter. They asked if I had an outlet for some of their items and I told them I would share it with everyone here at CF. So I started them an Etsy Shop account to showcase what they have done. And this is the first items! Check it out and let me know what you think!
Thanks so much! - Rex

Nobody knows the timing of the Rapture so the world will mourn because they shall be left behind.
Rev 1:7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
The Parable of foolish virgins clearly indicates that Jesus will fetch His bride at the unknown hour.
But at the 2nd coming of Christ there...
I just gotta comment on something. It has been bothering me. I outlined an experience in which God spoke to me recently. I had a lot of people praying for me and I concluded that it payed off. Someone basically then said "Your medicine might need adjusted." because yes, I do have schizophrenia and take medicine for it. If my own psychiatrist acts this way, I'm going to do one of two things:
1. Give up all belief in God. When he speaks to me, I don't hear Him.
2. Get lawyers after my...
I don't know where else to place this thread. If I place it in the Lutheran forum, by people are going to tell me that I'm correct by default; if I place it in the Catholic forum, people are going to tell me that I'm incorrect by default. I'm also not sure of what advice, exactly, that I'm looking for, but nevertheless...
My wife was raised in a strict Catholic family. Ideally, she was to marry a Catholic and have a Catholic family. But then she met me, an atheist at the time. After awhile,...
Serious question, for Trinitarians I guess. Feel free to correct any of my mistakes.
Follow me here... This might be a long one... So from my understanding:
Trinity = Father is a person, Son is a person, Holy ghost is a person, but they are not three persons but one person.
God = Trinity = Eternal, Immortal, etc. etc.
Stick with me here:
#1: Is the flesh part of the Trinity?
From my understanding and what I've heard from Christians, yes.
So, Trinity = Father, Son (100% God, 100% Man),...
Every now and then when I am alone in my bedroom I will feel an evil presence in the room with me (remember I have the gift of discernment). It is a horrible feeling of darkness and depravity, you won't know what total evil feels like unless you experience it for yourself, it is truly a frightening terrible feeling.
I usually assume it is Satan or one of his demons and I usually pray, "Lord, please keep me from the evil one."
And in little while, the presence leaves and I feel like I am...
God has kept the fingerprints of the guilt-worthy off the righteousness he designed for the guilt-worthy. The guilt-worthy have kept sin on the table of God’s justice their entire lifetimes and sat under ministers of righteousness who have led the way. Satan’s ministers of righteousness use the word reform, but reformation would be a work of the believer for God. They would appeal to people to reform, yet some people think it’s their responsibility to remove their sins. These people commit,...
I read the previous thread about the same topic and it had me thinking. Does it mean that if we commit a sin repeatedly to the point where we no longer feel guilty about it and later ask God for forgiveness about said sin after becoming resolved to work in his ways will we forgiven or have we blasphemed against his spirit? I have found myself in a similar position and I need an answer please.
Two things are true:
We are not above error
Non-believers can recognize that error.
YET, I don't know about you, but I get the distinct impression people in the church dislike being called out on their ethics, especially by those not in the church.
Western Christendom "seems" to set itself up in a position of, it's the world VS the church. I hear things like... that's "worldly", "fleshly", "...are you a believer (when challenged)", "the logic of man", "desires of the flesh".
Many today who express great interest in exo-planets that give hope of exo-world and intelligent life.... claim that this will utterly destroy Christianity once the truth of it is more fully known.
NASA says it's "mission" is to find an exo-world that humans can live on.
7 planets in the habitable zone of one star about 40 light years away was the "big news" of the week a few days ago.
how much of the Bible can "be wrong" and your Christianity still be "just fine"?
How much of your...
The NEW Covenant - as it is written in the actual Bible - is found in Jeremiah 31:31-33 and Hebrews 8:6-10.
Do you accept it - or reject it as applying to yourself today?
I claim to be a New Covenant Christian and at one time I thought all Christians would accept the New Covenant as applying to them as well. Since then some have made comments indicating they don't think it applies to them today.
What about you?

When I will effect a new...
