I posted on another thread this response. And I want to start a thread to declare this. I read so many times that people say that the Pope is False Prophet, Anti-christ etc. etc. And all the practices of the church is pagan. I get tired of this because everybody else has just as much falseness and separation from God too. No one can Judge, yet they do. IMHO id be careful about handing out judgments and labels against anyone, Catholic or not. I do not attend there anymore and do not agree...
(FYI by LGBT ADS I mean YouTube make up commercials featuring transgenders not pop ups for anyone else who gets confused by what type of ads I'm complaining about).
I don't like that God makes us stay on this planet with the world being the way it is. I don't want to endure I want to get away.
Why should I have to endure I didn't eat from the tree of good and evil personally.
This world is annoying. I'm sick of being bullied with the transgender gay lesbian agenda. Sick of being told...
Just wanted to share a video I've currently got running as I do other work: a conversation on an ex-Scientologist's YouTube channel between Chris Shelton (the ex-Scientologist) and Jonathan Streeter, an ex-Mormon who has his own channel with videos on it about Mormonism.
I find this sort of comparison between two new religious movements to be very interesting (lots of parallels!), and I hope you guys can get something out of it too. The ex-Mormon talks about some of the things we have...
Our spirit is "who" we are.
There is only one eternal spirit.
The eternal spirit is named Yahweh.
Yahweh is the spirit of Jesus.
Yahweh created each of our spirits.
So I would say...
Yahweh is Jesus before the foundation of the world.
Yahweh is Jesus.
Both statements mean the same thing to me.
Would you say those two statements?
I have to say i totally agree with the bishop francis is a fundamental danger to the faith and the souls he is supposed to care for
Bishop Schneider: “Convert” or “renounce the papacy”
As the thread states - is it okay to play poker for living?
I'm 25. I've been doing it for living since 18. Accepted Christ last June, thought that I have to stop playing, but have wounded up in a situation where I have no money, no skills, almost no job opportunities, but I do have a desire to learn a new profession so I have the necessity for some funds to do that and earning some money playing poker is the best option for me as it is something I know how to do and it is easily combined...
I know the bible says Paul learned to be content in whatever state is was.
I am miserable due to quality of life.
Life is working all the time while chronically ill with expensive Dr bills and exhausted for poverty wages. If I choose to take care of myself and enjoy life instead I would be homeless. I'd honestly choose homelessness over working full-time if it wasn't basically illegal in the US to be poor.
I'd work part-time and live in my car just to have more freetime and save money...
Hi all. There was vigorous debate in another thread of mine about paid pastors and the validity of it.
I understand the need for fellowship and aim to get back to that myself. What I don't really understand is the role of pastors, especially paid ones.
A number of people quote apostle Paul about being supported in ministry from the church. There is the quote in the NT that those who receive spiritual instructions should share all things with those who instruct. Meaning financial support....
