Eh?

It's more than a decade since TEC elected Gene Robison to bishop of New Hampshire.

You are, perhaps, confusing TEC with the rest of the Anglican Communion.

Yes, thanks for bearing with me and answering me with kindness.

My apologies.

As for the rest of my post it is sad anyway.
The attack on the family is a plague that seems to be a never ending story.
I only pray that people will see the lies that rests within this campaign.

Lord have mercy.

Sorry, just who is supposed to be the victim here? The people making their own decisions about what goes on in their own church?

I think you answered the main issue here yourself, when people are in charge not God its truly a fallen church.

Are you saying that since I'm catholic I do not have any right to mourn over other (previously steady non catholic christians that now turn their back more and more towards Christ) Christians who duck deeper and deeper into apostasy is that it?

The fact that I care is solemnly out of love for Christians that I've considered to be my brothers and sisters in Christ despite them not having the full deposit of faith.
It's that same love for them that makes me sad that they're heading for the cliff.

The victims here is those who buy into the lies.
The sincere honest people who trust in the leadership of your church and believe in what they says are the true victims.

This is NOT a victimless crime!

No one's attacked my family.

I'm sorry that you don't see this.
It's not only the Episcopal Church by any means.
The whole secular society are after the traditional marriage and family constellations.

Seems pretty victimless to me.

Based on the non existing depth in your responses I think I'm better of not wasting time on any further correspondence.

Enjoy your bobble...
Well, I could randomly quote the Bible and speak faux Biblese too, if it helps. Frankly I've always felt that style of... "witness" I guess is the word, pretty useless

The whole denomination has been losing members. This will not likely slow that loss. I pity those people who have been devout Episcopalians for many years and see what is happening to their church.

Why? Will it somehow make them less devout?

or it's a massive change. to forbid homosexual relations and marriage and then to allow same sex marriages. one would think that's a big change.
Sorry, can't see it myself.

I always thought Christianity is about self discipline and treating others better. I guess I just can't get that worked up about acknowledging other people as equals. Sorry.

if the pope embraced same sex marriage in the church, you don't think it would have severe aftershocks?
