As one fellow was heard to say: "Ya Gotta Wanna change". That is essential in many things in life.

I noted an alcoholic praising AA on a forum for helping people to get free of drinking, but admitting that first one must TRULY want to stop. It is very true also in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some people want to occasionally flirt with Christianity and hope something will rub off on them for good, but do not want to get into real faith, obey God and receive the only Savior ---the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is also true of some sincere professing Christians who believe in God and try hard to obey all of the things they understand about the Bible, and even go to church meetings often; but put their confidence in their reasoning, good works, good intentions, religious activities, etc. and miss God's "great salvation" (Heb. 2:3) in His beloved Son. As the Lord said: "Ye must be born again!" (John 3 --an important chapter to know); and "no man cometh to the Father, but by Me" (John 14:6 --another very important chapter to study). Yes, "ya gotta wanna change", and come to God on His terms as given in His eternal Word. Look up always, dear friends!
