Why was Abraham at war with Elam?

I was reading about Abraham's life, and I read that he was at war with a king in Elam. This confuses me. I usually dont associate Abraham with being a warrior. What was the reason he was fighting with Elam?

Because they took Lot and all the 'stuff' and Abraham was like yo dudes, round up the posse, we be goin to war with these foos!
