Mat 27:52-53 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Who, do you believe, were these people?

I don't know, but a guess might be the 144,000, since they would be considered the firstfruits.

Rev 14:4 "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb."

it is clearly not 144,000 people, -
check again and see how many people were raised from the grave (AND SEEN BY OTHERS AROUND YERUSALEM) when Yahshua was raised by Yhvh.

Brother was there a number given, and why not the 144,000?

Grace and Peace

I believe it was the emptying of Abraham's bosom. The old testament saints, David, Daniel, Joshua ect... this being the first resurrection.

Even the most learned servants of God cannot agree on whether the people who were raised from the dead by the Old Testament prophets and by the Lord Jesus on earth, as well as the saints in Matthew 27, were all resurrected with a spiritual body. Hence, it is difficult to say anything definitely. Since this point does not have much to do with our spiritual life in our present experience, we can only let it go.

Concerning the 144,000. More is said of them in the book of Revelation. There are obvious dis-similarities and also there is no apparent connection, nor has any been made as far as I know by the emissaries of Yahshua.

Dan greetings,

Could have been the emptying of Abraham's bosom. Would be afraid to call it the first resurrection, because it would seem that happens just prior to the millennium.

Christ is the firstfruits. 1Co 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

The 144,000 were also called the firstfruits. Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Notice that they follow the Lamb wherever he goes. Could they be with him now?

Shouldn't we treat all scripture equally? 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Love you as a brother, Terry

Who's treating any Scripture not equally? although it doesn't matter on the internet, per se, or on this site - if all Scripture was understood and obeyed(Yhvh Willing !), there wouldn't be any denominations ! or catholicism ! or (a whole bunch of other things!) . If the Father does not grant understanding of something, it is not to be had in any way.

good, you ( bolded) listed one of the most obvious dis-similarities, which is sufficient by itself, but(just in case it's not understood that way, then) there are most likely several others, as you might find by reading Revelation .
some of the points may be opposed to religious ideas held by some parties, so I won't list them - they will have to be found , Yhvh willing, by searching/reading.
