Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

The Muslim little horn will make his Dome of the Rock the central attraction of his standing of the great controversy between Issac/Jacob .... Ishmael/Esau

The Muslims claim that the Dome has always been there on the mount since built, and that there never was a temple of Israel's doing ... it was Ishmael to be sacrificed and not Issac

Satan is the instigator of the Muslim intransigence against the Lord and His nation of Israel .... and Mohammed was his dupe who corrupted the scriptures of the Bible to his own ambition

The abomination may include the little horn's image as well .... and he is the one who will cause the desolations of Israel
"...the daily sacrifice shall be taken away...." requires a temple be built.

"Did they heed the warning in Matthew 24?"

No ... there is nothing in scripture that supports a 70 AD flee

Not the same setting as it will be at the time of the end [Zechariah 14:1-5; Matthew 24:15-16; Revelation 12:6; 12:14]

And the Lord did not go forth and fight against the Romans .... they won .... the Lord never looses

70 AD was not the time of the end .... only the preterist makes this claim

They fled to Pella.

http://www.christianitytoday.com/ch/1990/issue28/2808.html?start=2

I never said it was the time of the end...

You seem to be ignoring the fact that there are two questions in Matthew 24:3.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

The first half of the chapter deals with the first question and the second half deals with the second question.

How many question marks did the King James translators use in the verse?

There is only one question .... about the things of the time of the end .... and related sign preceding His visible appearance

All the same .... the Lord is only going to intervene once .... to bring His unprecedented judgment upon the earth which will last for 2550 days .... and then He will appear just after

The sacrificial ritual that the scriptures speak of symbolic practices that will be required are for the Lord's millennial kingdom .... not now

Daniel sees Israel in the coming time of Jacob's trouble and the little horn of the future will prevent Israel from the daily prayer activities at the western wall

If you are waiting for a temple of some kind on the Jewish on the mount for the tribulation setting, you will wait along time

Today's current Muslim presence and posture in the Middle East and on the mount prevents what you think is going to happen

And because of this alone there will be no tribulation temple of the Lord's on the mount during the tribulation period [Revelation 11:2]

There is nothing in scripture that describes a rebuild at the end of this present age .... there would be if true .... the building of the first and second was fore told

And when the Lord was asked about the time of the end which is the coming tribulation period He said not one stone left standing .... there sill is not, and will not be during the time of which He speaks .... He said nothing about a rebuild

You also know that the orthodox of Israel are still in blindness today and still think in terms of the OT .... they do not believe that Jesus was their Messiah and King

The sacrificial ritual that the scriptures speak of symbolic practices that will be required are for the Lord's millennial kingdom .... not now

Daniel sees Israel in the coming time of Jacob's trouble and the little horn of the future will prevent Israel from the daily prayer activities at the western wall

It says in the text of Daniel 8:13 "the sanctuary". The sanctuary is the building which has the holy room, and the Holy of Holies room. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

If you are waiting for a temple of some kind on the Jewish on the mount for the tribulation setting, you will wait along time

Today's current Muslim presence and posture in the Middle East and on the mount prevents what you think is going to happen

The Muslim presence and Islam itself comes to an end in Gog/Magog - then afterward, the sanctuary building (15ft x 30ft minimum size) and the brazen altar, which is necessary for the daily sacrifice will be built.

And because of this alone there will be no tribulation temple of the Lord's on the mount during the tribulation period [Revelation 11:2]

There is nothing in scripture that describes a rebuild at the end of this present age .... there would be if true .... the building of the first and second was fore told

It says in the text of Daniel 8, which I provided and highlighted the exact words in my previous post, regarding the vision of the sanctuary desolated by means of transgression stopping the daily sacrifice is for the time of the end.

And when the Lord was asked about the time of the end which is the coming tribulation period He said not one stone left standing .... there sill is not, and will not be during the time of which He speaks .... He said nothing about a rebuild

That's a hollow argument because there is no single place in the bible that gives the complete picture of the end times in one place.

2thessalonians2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

You also know that the orthodox of Israel are still in blindness today and still think in terms of the OT .... they do not believe that Jesus was their Messiah and King

So? They are not intending to build a temple because they believe in Jesus.

"They fled to Pella."

So what .... here is the fleeing, and it is not to Pella [Zechariah 14:4-5]

Matthew 24 is all about a future remnant of Israel during the time of Jacob's trouble, the 70th week decreed .... and not about the Roman incursions in 70 AD

You are in denial of the words of Christ.

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

What do you think the first question in verse 3 was about ???

I believe that your interpretation is flawed for many reasons and do not agree

I know what the question was .... just one thing

My interpretation does not agree with the 2 Peoples/ 2 Purposes/ 2 Kingdoms/ 2 or more Gospels/ 2 ways of Salvation(Grace and later Law)/ Scripture "Rightly Divided" into 2 Parts/ 2 Second Comings of Christ doctrine of Dispensational Futurism.

Let us count the number of question marks...

In this case you reject the number 2, when it is clearly indicated by the text.

Go figure...

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying,
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Yes, there are 2 questions in the verse.

About the same thing ..... the time of the end .... the Lord's execution of His unprecedented tribulation including all of "these things" [all of the scheduled events] taken together .... and then His visible appearance at the end of it

The post tribulation thinker ignores the events of the Lord's coming judgments contained in Revelation's unfolding .... not a good idea .... this kind of behavior is the talk of the scoffers of the last days who ignore His coming judgment that must include all of these things just as He has said

Luke
21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

All of these things taken together did not take place in 70 AD as the preterist tells

.... but they will during the coming tribulation period ....and then immediately after those "days" of the tribulation will He appear [Matthew 24:29-31]

So you refute Him with a combination of your preteristic/post-tribulation thinking

Like you say Pella, when He clearly gives a different location in Zechariah 14

.... in fact you refute many things that the prophet tells you for some reason .... your view is very different

And I know why you are following the false teaching of the post-tribulation rant

.... so that you can deny His promise to keep His true ecclesia living at the time from His intent to take vengeance upon those who know not God [Jude 1:14-15] .... this is your obvious and hidden motive

So why do you do this?

Bottom line .... tell the forum

today ended 1290 days
based on the fact that in 2018 70 years of restoration of the Jewish state

1260 days begin

stick it

I nearly took a stroke when I read your note. It sounded for a second like you knew what you are talking about.

I have the 1290 days violated during the last week of this past June, or tomorrow the 11th. It depends on which eclipse is used, do we count backwards from the last solar or 14 days later from the last lunar?

The 1260 day span won't be violated until the weekend of July 25th, or 14 days later in August. Again, it depends on which one of the January eclipses are used to count back from.

At this point it still looks like the fig tree sheds its WINTER fruit.
I'm gonna need a high quality cold weather sleeping bag.

Look what the second reviewer said about this one from Bass Pro:

"I purchased this bag mainly for car camping and for emergency use in a SHTF situation"

The abomination that caused the desolation of Israel was the Roman armies standing on Holy ground, desecrating it.
Doing sacrifice to their battle standards and to the emperor (he was a "god", don'tcha know) in the Holy of Holies.

the 70th week decreed for Israel still pending
Wasn't really the 70th week then, was it? But wait... wasn't sacrifice and oblation supposed to cease in the 70th week? And... didn't they?

this kind of behavior is the talk of the scoffers of the last days
And just for the sake of clarity the only thing being scoffed at here is the solemn and sonorous predictions of things that happened a couple of millennia ago coming from those whose doctrine doesn't allow them to believe that historical facts are actually facts. We all confess that our Lord "ascended into Heaven... from whence He shall come again to judge the quick and the dead." What we scoff at, and quite properly, IMO, is the futurist blather where 7*70 > 2000, where Jerusalem wasn't sacked by the Romans as our Lord said it would be, where the Temple was not desecrated by abominable sacrifices performed there (again, a matter of history) by Roman legionaries, and where sacrifice and oblation have somehow not really ceased. Y'all live in a world that depends on the denial of reality, and that deserves to be scoffed at.

Because you deny that Luke 21:24 happened in the past, even though we see that John Darby understood this verse to be a past event.

In your effort to promote Dispensational Futurism, you have lost touch with reality.

Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

The following comes from John Nelson Darby's Commentary on Luke 21:24.

...These were the days of vengeance on the Jews, who had crowned their rebellion by rejecting the Lord. Therefore Jerusalem should be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles were fulfilled, that is, the times destined to the sovereignty of the Gentile empires according to the counsel of God revealed in the prophecies of Daniel. This is the period in which we now live...

That is not why ..... give the real reason .... if you know

You may, or may not .... but I do

And I think you are the one who has lost touch with reality

Your statement reveals much about you .... you are stuck in something and cannot escape .... you get all balled up when someone disagrees with you

People who constantly attack others with words show a lack of confidence

What is it with you? ..... think about it

Ezekiel 39:
23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
