Going into the children's department of the local library. I saw two Frances the Badger books on display and it made me so happy. Then I looked around and saw so many other old favorites, children's classics, and so many magical books. I think books for children (and young adults) are so much more fun than adult books a lot of the time. I don't care if that makes me immature or takes from my nerd cred.
^ I LOVE children's books! They are works of art!
Today what made me happy was spending time with my husband and planning things together for our future!
Singing with my church family durning praise time.
I started thinking about how much I love them and how much I'm going to miss them all when I'm in Texas.
Today: Spending time with our cat, gardening, kissing my husband, seeing our rabbit eat fresh lettuce and carrots from the garden, playing around on the keyboard!
I took Hubert to the vet and they gave him a thorough exam and did a test on his poops. I guess it made me happy that he didn't have anything obviously wrong with him or any parasites, and I am happy that he ate and drank when he got home. I'm just hoping he will continue to recover from whatever is going on.
I feel like Mary in The Secret Garden....I have a walled garden that hasn't been really maintained in about 15 years. I spent yesterday sorting through things and clearing. It was lovely.
