What is a husband's duty to His wife?

There is clear teaching in the Word of God about the husband's duty to His wife. Love first!

Thankyou,'visionary'. I agree! ('Husband's,love your wives and be not bitter against them' (Col.3:19) Husband's,love your wives,even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it' (Eph.5:25)

Plenty of God inspired advice in the Bible! We are to love it and live it!

Notice how it says,'Submit to one another,out of reverence for Christ' (Ephesians 5:21) This is before going on to speak of wives and husband's and their relationship together.

I guess, two most problematic areas for men and women. Husbands, put first things first, in your zeal to reach goals, don't "step on heads" (idiom from my language) of dearest to you people. Wives, put first things first, in your zeal to make your world safe and predictable, don't go too far to put down the one who's more than anybody trying to make it happen.

Not that it's not important for wives to love or for husbands to respect.

First things first. God is so right, as always.

A personal perspective - I was just recently reminded of these commandments from the Bible in the strongest way possible!!! By God, in happenings of life and studying the word, not by any person directly.
