This probably seems egocentric and lame but I am listening to a song I wrote, ha. A friend who is a musician asked me to write a song for her a couple of years ago to include on an album she was self-releasing. I've just found out that she has just been given the opportunity to have it professionally recorded and released later this year, and I'm super excited.
