...and overall, I really loved it! The Liturgy was so beautiful, even with one of my toddlers to distract for portions. I missed the sermon, but hopefully when I visit again Ill be able to catch it. It was a small church & a bit farther than I enjoy driving on a Sunday morning, but not too bad. I understood portions of the Liturgy, but much of it was foreign to me. Is there some sort of guidebook I could get to follow along?
It will be weeks before my husband can visit because of work & if he loves it, too...maybe we we stick around. If he doesn't feel the same, then that will likely be the end of it. Still, I am not certain I want to leave my Wesleyan tradition, as I value much about the churches there...but in general much of the doctrine does not appear contradictory to Orthodoxy, so that helps me.
So...who knows!
