Yes, it needs to happen. Why aren't we discussing this in America? We have 2 former, and 1 current president that have charges against humanity filed on them. Why aren't they being arrested, and tried?

The United States has never signed on to treaties permitting any national or international court to try U.S. citizens for war crimes or crimes against humanity.

As you noted this is political. The article is from global research and dated 2012. The ruling came from a court in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As Malaysia is not known for its human rights record.

This happens quite often to American politicians as one of the sources cited Bush Sr. for war crimes for the Gulf War in 1991. Even though that conflict had a UN resolution. Frankly so did Bush 43 with OIF.
