Yes, it would seem that moral outrage over video games is the order of the day.

we need a good white trash game where residents from a local trailer park shoot at UFO's...the more you hit, the more points you make...the more dip you put in your mouth gets you bonus- shoot your dog and you move to the next stage.

....then perhaps people would be happier.

I am fairly sure there has been more then one game mocking white sterotypes like this.

As for why people see blacks as gangstas, maybe perhaps a look at BET is in order.

In the Diablo series, some of the hero characters are black.

Only the monk, IIRC. Everyone else was white. And the archenemy was red. Or blue, if you got the expansion.

Come to think of it though, I can't think of one African guy who has ever been an archenemy in any game I've played. I guess that just goes to show how few linear shooters I play. MMORPG's pwn!!1
