The U.S. Bishops are disappointed by the Obama administration's denial of decades old special protections for Cuban migrants to the U.S. The Wet foot/Dry foot policy has been repealed in order to normalize relations with Cuba and many Cubans in the U.S. risk being deported.

Their disappointment only escapes hypocrisy if they have always felt the same way about "unconventional" immigration by other Catholic Latinos.
