I played ball in college with a couple guys who went to one of those schools and I dated a girl from another--let's just say the great Catholic identity of these schools didn't really take so well on any of them

I'm surprised that Brophy didn't make the academics list. Xavier is there, but still.

WOW! surprised to find that on the Academics list..one of the highschools my cousin went to..and another one of them my grandpa, uncles and brother went to! Two great ACADEMIC highschools in my area apparently..one co-ed and the other all boys school.

None near me are on the other lists though.

Yeah, I wonder as well.

Actually a friend of mine in the Tridentine choir (I'm singing in the choir now) was let go by Brophy. He was teaching Latin, and they've decided to downsize the Latin program at Brophy. In addition, he made some enemies there because he was to traditional.

So now he's teaching Latin at a Protestant charter school.
