All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Gal 3:10

Essentially what it means is God's standard and quality control is 100% perfection. Even if there is a 0.0000001% blemish, it just won't cut it. That is why the Lamb Without Blemish had to die for us.

"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree" Gal 3:13

"For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is GUILTY OF ALL. " James 2:10

1. The Bible says "cursed are those who break the Law" - man made tradition says "cursed are those who keep the law".

2. James says "so live and so act as those who ARE to be judged by the LAW Liberty" the TEN Commandments.

"what matters is KEEPING the Commandments of God" 1Cor 7:19

How happy then the situation that even the Sunday Sources at the end of this post notice this glaringly obvious Bible detail in favor of God's TEN Commandments.

in Christ,

Bob

Sabbath keeping has always been a minor, cultish practice for Christians that simply have not fully-comprehended the impact of the Resurrection. .

By contrast the actual Bible says "From Sabbath to Sabbath shall ALL MANKIND come before Me to worship" Is 66:23.

And by contrast we have the "inconvenient detail" that the SDA denomination is larger than the Southern Baptists and Seventh-day Baptists combined.

And what is worse - even the Sunday Sources at the end of this post know that the statement in the quote above is totally debunked in actual scripture.

First Century Christianity NEVER kept the Sabbath. NEVER. Not once do the Apostles tell the Christians they must keep the Sabbath, or any of the other 613 Commandments of Judaism.

Under Jewish law, circumcision is required before ANY of the Mosaic Laws can be kept. The Council of Jerusalem in AD 50 decided once and for all that the Gentile Christians would not be required to follow the Mosaic Law. Their duties were described in the Book of Acts and a parallel to the Noahide Law.

Seventh Day Adventism has a yearly stampede of 300,000 fleeing their system of cult bondage. EVERY single significant doctrine of SDA has been soundly debunked by their own theologians!

SDAs THINK they are keeping the Sabbath and brag loudly about their superiority over other Christians because of it, but in truth they do not keep the Sabbath. What they "keep" is a convenient, Americanized, sanitized, dumbed down, processed cheese-version of the Sabbath that bears absolutely NO resemblance to the Sabbath as kept by Jesus or anyone in the Old Testament.

Don't flatter yourself for imagining you have accomplished something you haven't. The only honest Sabbath Keepers are the ones that also keep the monthly, yearly and New Moons Sabbaths, all the Jewish feast days and some of them have built the necessary backyard temples for animal sacrifices. The honest sabbath keepers have searched out and find the Rabbis necessary to follow the Levitical food laws. If you are going to follow Jesus's example of Sabbath keeping, then you also have to follow all the other Mosaic Laws outlined above.

AlyssaJuliana,

Christians NEVER were required to keep the Sabbath. Gentile Christians were never required to and never did keep the Sabbath. They couldn't without undergoing circumcision. Read the Book of Acts for the history of that. And then study how Judaism developed the 613 Commandments that were enforced at the time of Jesus, who fulfilled all of those onerous requirements.

SDAs are very deceptive about how they lure in new members. They hold evangelistic crusades and don't mention who they are until the very end. They want 10 percent of your income! If you get sucked in by this cult, they will suck the air right out of your Christian experience. Not one of the SDA doctrines has survived critical analysis by their own theologians and Bible teachers. It was founded on a false prophecy that Christ would return in 1844. ALL of their doctrines were developed as a gigantic face-saving system to cover up for the 1844 debacle. Their false prophet Ellen White has been thoroughly discredited as a massive literary thief who basically took other writers and stole their writings and called them her own, claiming that these stolen writings came to her in a "vision."

Their own eminent theologian Raymond Cottrell has simply demolished their entire cult system when he proved that NOTHING happened in 1844.

The bible says cursed is a person who cannot keep ALL the laws. If you intend to follow the law and cannot fully comply with ALL of it, you are under a curse. Plain and simple. No twisting of words like you did.

I have demonstrated in several places in this section that NOBODY keeps the Sabbath in a globalized economy. It was a nice, heretical delusion while it lasted, but nobody should treat it now as anything but an elaborate fairy tale.

Christ Himself did not strictly adhere to observing Sabbath. Sabbath is made for man but man is not made for Sabbath.

Christ was actually the fulfillment of the Sabbath. The Sabbath pointed to him. It was his to do with as he pleased. And the last legitimate Sabbath was the one he spent in the Tomb.

Man counts 613, God counts 10 and writes them with His own finger. The interesting thing is that the Ten Commandments are the only part of the Bible written with God's own finger.
And 2 of God's supposed prophets said they would cease. I say supposed because I don't think you believe them to be telling the truth. In which case they aren't speaking for God. God doesn't lie nor tell people to do such a thing.

No alleged Sabbath Keeper I have ever met even TRIES to keep the 4th Commandment. They want us to THINK they keep it. And we know they THINK they keep it. But they don't. Not even close.

What they do is pretend that all of those foreigners that work seven days a week to produce the products they buy are not "manservants and maidservants" as it is defined in the 4th Commandment. But there is no doubt that had this situation been looked at in the time of Christ, it clearly WOULD have resulted in stonings, for the clear-cut violation of the Sabbath.

So the Sabbath Keepers are just indulging themselves in a whimsical fairy tale by pretending the money they buy products with does not hire people to make the products on the Sabbath. They pretend that their economic transaction is impersonal with people they do not know, so that it somehow "washes their hands" of the sin.

It doesn't. Under the 4th Commandment, they "hired" those Chinese to work seven days a week and violate the Sabbath to make the products they want.

So the Law is unworkable, despite their half-hearted protests to the contrary. Sabbath Keepers attempt to ignore the strong prohibitions in the New Testament against trying to keep the Law and to convince other people to do it as well. This is PRECISELY why ALL of the First Century Christians had a one-word description of their futile and empty gestures:

"Hypocrites."

Deep down inside, they know their vain and clumsy half-hearted attempts to unctuously pretend to keep the law are just foolishness. They hope that Grace really is sufficient to make up for their complete lack of commitment and effort on keeping the law.

It had better be. Their laughable and erratic stabs at law-keeping impresses nobody.
