Here is a bio on Dave Allen. I think some will find him offensive because a lot of his comedy is based on making fun of the Catholic Church. To be honest, I still find him funny.

Incidentally, our paper money has just started being phased out with harder to forge, longer lasting polymer money starting a month or so ago with the fiver.
Also, the round pound coin is going to be phased out in 2017, replaced with a 12-sided threepence like coin due to the large number of forgeries currently in circulation.

We overtly copied the idea off Canada. We have a Canadian currently governing the the Bank of England.

I think he mentioned something about getting rid of 1p coins too; I hope so, they're basically worthless along with 2p coins.
Penny sweets now usually cost 5p and I can't think of anything cheaper.

Pretty depressing.
It's not exactly a new ride, or in the very least, there are similar rides that have been going for a while without fault.
