Revelation 6

[1] And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
[2] And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

... Former Mormons Dennis and Rauni Higley of H.I.S. Ministries International in Salt Lake City, Utah concur that these indeed are the beliefs of the LDS establishment. They provided Christian News Network with written outlines of their concerns surrounding what is called the “White Horse Prophesy.”

“From its very beginning, the Mormon plan for America has been to have a Mormon president lead this nation and ultimately the world,” they stated. “The so-called ‘White Horse Prophecy’ of Joseph Smith has been referred to often as a destiny of the Mormon priesthood in saving the United States. This ‘prophecy’ predicts that U.S. government will one day hang as if by a single thread and Mormon elders will step in and save it.”

Daughter of LDS Bishop Warns Against Mormonism and Romney Presidency

The White Horse Prophecy is a statement purported to have been made in 1843 by Joseph Smith, Jr., founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, regarding the future of the Latter Day Saints (Mormons) and the United States of America. The Latter Day Saints, according to the prophecy, would "go to the Rocky Mountains and ... be a great and mighty people", identified figuratively with the White Horse described in the Revelation of John. The prophecy further predicts that the United States Constitution will one day "hang like a thread" and will be saved "by the efforts of the White Horse".[1]

Each human being rides a "white horse" as he enters and begins his life. He is born to "conquer" the world and attaine eternal life through Jesus Christ.

After living human life some will ride the "white horse" again if they are born again and follow Jesus. Some will just die and go back to the cycles of nature. This is a realistic meaning of these seals and horses. It follows and comforms with the rest of the Bible's cosmology.

The Revelation began unfolding on Oct. 28th, 312 AD when the sign of the Son of Man appeared in the clouds, and Jesus came into power through St. Constantine who rode a white horse and conquered with a bow.

Yes, that was the beginning of the formation of Christian "nations."

In Rev.21;24 it says "And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it." All of Revelation chapter 21 is describing the Christian Millennium of Matt.19;28 Acts 1;6 and Rev.20;4,6

Yes indeed. It is known as the turning point of history because since that day, Christian nations have been the dominant force on earth.

Actually chapter 21 is mostly about the New Jerusalem which comes to pass on a new planet after the glorious 1000 year reign of the Church ends and the earth is destroyed by fire. Still, the 24 fruits of the 2 trees of life represent the 24 Christian nations that ruled with Jesus for a thousand years, and the leaves of the trees of life are for their healing.

    Hi

It is my understanding that the seal with the horses, the white horse depicts the antichrist. Anti in this manner means fake or faux, trying to pass himself as Christ in this case.

    No.

The Revelation began as stated in the book of Revelation. It starts with John prophesying to the 7 churches, just as stated by John. The tribulation is happening, as John bears witness to it in Rev 1:9-11:
9 I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet,
11 saying, “Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

That is the beginning of the apocalypse. Constantine is not the White Horse rider of Rev 6:1 at all in my view.

It's my belief the "White Horse" rider is Christ and the Church. The Church is conquering through the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the gospel. As Paul says it in Romans 8:37-39
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Constantine is simply a historical figure and his claim to be a Christian doesn't bear out in his actions. Have you really read about Constantine?

There no doubt that God has used people throughout history. Some Chrstian and some not. This I do know...the "White Horse" rider of Rev 6:1, is in no way Constantine!

You can put that down!

The 5 horsemen are the good guys (i.e., Christian nations), and the beast of the Revelation represents the bad guys.

The Revelation 6 seals are parallel with Christ's Olivet prophecy
Christ tells his apostles first "take heed that no man deceive you"
the first seal represents false religion / deception
He then says "wars and rumors of wars"
the 2nd seal is the red horse symbolizing war

anyone can read the rest and see that the Olivet prophecy and the opening of the seals are parallel accounts

the white horse rider symbolizes deception and false religion which has been going on for centuries now

it does not symbolize a Romney presidency nor does it symbolize the Roman emperor Constantine

Constantine was as a shodow of "good things to come" so to speak. He began the official spread of Jesus's message to the European Gentiles. These gentiles are the ones that today have followed him and developed Christian nations "walk in the light" of his teachings. Rev.21;24

Constantine was as the beginning, and European Christian Israel is the result. It is the promised land for Jesus's New Covanant. Just as the Old Covanant of Moses had their time of rest in a particular geographical land, so too are the Christian nations today embarking on living in thiers.

It's a "new earth" because it isn't the old land of Canaan. It's a kingdom brought about by a "peoples who knew me not" will know him and follow him alone among all the other "tribes of the earth."

That is what you're saying...not scripture. You have imposed that on scripture because it doesn't say that at all.

The White Horse Rider went out "conquering and to conquer", it does not say what he conquered...so Constantine is not the answer. The White Horse is still conquering! The prophecy never said said he would stop.

Compare that to the prophecy of the Red Horse, who "took peace from the earth"...there have been wars and will be wars...that will not end until Christ returns.

If you want to hold to Constantine fine...but He's not the White Horse.

But Rome was the beginning of the development and establishment of Jesus's "Christian Nations." Reuben was Israel's first son and therefore in the "regeneration" of Matt.19;28 he was the first to begin. Paul begins his epistles to the Gentiles with the book called "Romans."

Under "Constantine" the cross began to be carried along with the eagle.

The "white horse" is the first horse. Rev.6;2 And the "white horse" is the last horse. Rev.19;11

"White light" is what Isaac Newton found when he combined a light going through one crystal and then returning through another.

White goes on both sides of Noah's rainbow. All the colors are inbetween. In Genesis each of the six days of creation describes an element which matches it's rainbow color. Earth is purple, water is blue, vegatation is green ect.

So having the white horse as the first and then the white horse as the last seems significant.

Here again you have just nothing substantive...but a lot that is subjective.

The White Horse in Rev 6 goes forth "conquering and to conquer"...it is symbolic of conquering...but what?

The White Horse of Rev 19 leaves no doubt it is Christ. We know that based on scripture...but scripture says NOTHING of Constantine.

This is what you're basing things on?

In the "beginning" was the word,........and at the "end" the word of God rides a white horse. Rev.19;13 So we see white at the beginning and at the end, and we see the word at the beginning and at the end. Jn.1;1

Don't you think that something is here in front of our eyes but we are just not understanding it yet. Constantine introduced the European Gentiles to Christianity on a white horse. In Rev.19 at the end the "word of God" is described upon a white horse. If the last white horse is to be an actual real white horse then which was the first actual real live horse? These things only become understood when you already see the basic framework of Biblical theology. Then the parables and asssorted descriptions can be placed upon the basic framework and they fit and cover their area to make the Bible's Christian message make sense.

The conquering is the beginning of God's plant Israel's growth. During this second Covenant period the plant Israel is following Jesus Christ and has manifested the fruit as the modern world in Europe.

When a seed burst open to begin life the radicle first goes down, it goes a conquering in it's search for food/nutrition. In this same way the plant Israel began. It first began with Cain. Then the upward shoot/Seth was able to grow up.

Civilization from Adam in Mesopotamia until today in the year 2000AD has grown and proceeded similar to how a plant grows. This is described in the Bible for those who search to see it. It is another of the amazing phenomena in God's Holy Book!

    To Waves,

Don't believe this Mormon prophecy, it is not true. The four horseman of the apocalypse are simply angels that conquer, deliver war, famine, and death to 1/3 of the world during the Great Tribulation period. I will also submit that they are the same four in Rev. 9:14,15
