God tells us He made a firmament or boundary of the first heaven on the second Day. Genesis 1:6-8 This defines heaven since God called the firmament heaven.

The firmament was empty, containing only air, since we are told in the New Testament that it was "in the water and out of the water" which indicates that it was floating in water. 2 Peter 3 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

God spins the water from under the firmament and brings it into the enclosure.

Gen 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place,

The water is contained in the bottom of the Biosphere.

and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Gen 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

We know that God spun the water to bring it into the firmament because He called the waters "Seas" which in Hebrew means a roaring, the sound made when the waters were twisted in order to bring them into the Biosphere.

The dry land was placed into the firmament and was on top of the water, with the sky above. This Earth, the Earth of Adam, was very FLAT. It's highest point is only 22 1/2 feet above sea level, Genesis 7 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version) and the entire Earth had only 4 Rivers while the present Earth has thousands, indicating it was much smaller than our Earth.

Is there any wonder that ancient man believed the stories of a Flat Earth? Put dry land on top of water in an enclosed Biosphere and you will also find that Genesis 1:9-10 describes a Flat Earth. It's the Flat Earth of Adam which was "clean dissolved" in the waters of a Universal Flood. Isaiah 24:19

In Love,
Aman

God tells us He made a firmament or boundary of the first heaven on the second Day. Genesis 1:6-8 This defines heaven since God called the firmament heaven.

There are three heavens (containment areas) in the Scriptures:

First Heaven is the sky and is from ground zero to 62 miles up.

Second Heaven is outer space and is from 62 miles to the edge of space.

Third Heaven is Heaven itself.

Dear AV, Interesting Theory but unsupportable Scripturally. The first heaven was the world of Adam. It was totally destroyed in the Flood. It's the world (Kosmos) that "THEN WAS" of ll Peter 3:6.

Second Heaven is outer space and is from 62 miles to the edge of space.

The second Heaven is our Cosmos, the heavens and earth "WHICH ARE NOW" ll Peter 3:7 which will be burned. ll Peter 3:10
Third Heaven is Heaven itself.

The third Heaven was made at the same time as our second Heaven. It was made at the beginning of the 3rd Day. Genesis 1:6-8 shows that the FIRST heaven was made the second Day. Genesis 2:4 shows that other HeavenS (Plural) were made the third Day. This makes at least 3 HeavenS or boundaries (firmaments) of worlds, universes, which are contained within the Multiverse. The Third Heaven is documented in 2 Corinthians 12 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

The Third Heaven is the object of the Creation for it is a perfect world filled with perfect people who live forever. It will be complete at the end of the present 6th Day. Genesis 2:1

Next year, the Europeans will launch the LISA satellites which will confirm that we live in a Multiverse. NASA had to leave it to the Europeans because of the ignorant cuts by our do nothing congress. When this is discovered scientifically, you can tell everyone that God told us about the Multiverse in Genesis. It's empirical PROOF of God.

In Love,
Aman

I know.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Did Bible writers believe the Earth was flat?

I don't know.

If they did, there were only some 40 people who wrote the Scriptures.

Only scientists would blame a whole nation for it.

Remember Kristallnacht?

Dear AV, Show me Scripturally.

Genesis 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

You now have two horizontal layers of water.

What is between them?

I say air.

No one's blaming anyone... just pointing out that in the culture and time from which the Scriptures arose, flat earthism was the normative belief.

I don't believe there were scientists of any kind in the time and culture of the OT. In the entire world, there were only a few proto-scientists. There were more proto-scientists at the time of the NT, but in the culture of the NT, I can't think of any.

Can you please point to a consensus by biblical scholars that the bible referred to Multiverses...which is dated before scientists proposed theories of Multiverses existing?

If you can't, then the bible clearly doesn't state anything about multiverses, and this is just another belated interpretation of the bible attempting to force it to fit modern scientific theory, so Christians can make an unfounded claim.
