Psalm 119:4
You have commanded us to keep your precepts diligently.
Many decisions are of no importance; if we say yes or no, life is not affected deeply. But when we are dealing with God's will, it is different.
Upon these decisions rest our happiness here and our destinies hereafter. It is an awesome choice that the Bible sets before us. We win or lose all by the decision that we make.
In our dealings with God, careful attention is required. "You have commanded us to keep your precepts diligenty. We sometimes quote the proverb, "Half a loaf is better than no bread." It is good thinking where material values are involved. But half way religion is not very satisfying to us, and it is disappointing to God.
Paul writes," I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.
Man's life under God is more than learning. To serve God means to listen to what He says, and then to obey.
