Noting the 144,000 are said to be from all the tribes of Israel ... not merely Benjamin and Judah. Most of those tribes were scattered to whereabouts unknown.

These would seem to be the truth-tellers, in whose mouths "was found no guile".

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.​

Again, end-times prophecy ... seemingly the very same 144,000 who are sealed and protected.

Numbers in the Bible is a phenomenal study in itself, isn't it?

It's rather intricate, in that the way numbers are gathered and spoken of and recorded are sometimes speaking of heads of households,etc.

It brings this to mind for me:

"That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;" ~Genesis 22:17

"And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be." ~Genesis 15:5

...it also brings to mind these verses:

"By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. In Leviticus 19:23-25 God gives rules for a 5 year process for the eating of fruit from new trees
[grapes are also included in this 5 year rule.]

The first three years... eating the fruit is forbidden.
The fourth year all the fruit is given only to God = first fruits

Now go to Jeremiah 2:3 and notice God calls His people His first fruits and how those who devour them
are guilty and disaster will come upon them.

Also see James 1:18... we are God's first fruits. See Revelation 14:4... the 144,000 are also called first fruits.
This is important... God takes His first fruits... then beginning in Revelation 14:14-19, the fruit is ripe for the
general harvest. Do you see it? First God takes His fourth year first fruits... next is the fifth year general
harvest... where the grapes are gathered and thrown into the wine press of God's wrath.

Genetic purity? That's an interesting concept to consider after hundreds of generations. Let's compare the number of generations with the number of ancestors one has.

The drawbacks of in-breeding are well known and so natural evolution and personal preferences have favored the introduction of new genetic stock into the gene pool.

Rather than genetic purity of the 12 tribes, it kinda seems to me that a more accurate description is that the genetic stock of the 12 tribes were distributed throughout mankind ... just as stated in Micah 5.

That is exactly what you have with the twelve tribes of Isreal: a lot of in-breeding and the genetic disease that goes along with that. This is why we know so much about their DNA because there is a lot of research going on to try to resolve the many diseases they have in their DNA from all their in-breeding. In the movie "A Stranger Among Us" they try to explain why the Hebrew marriage relationship is so strong and why they maintain this purity. In the DNA of the Non Israel groups you see a lot more adoption and marriage or affairs with people outside of their haplotypes. They talk about better sex through Kabbalism. Bottom line, God's plan is all about Jesus and the saving grace he brings, and the book of Revelation details that plan. It amazes me that some people still can't see the symbolism in this book and think the 144,000 is a literal number of Jews who haven't had sex.

Don't you people even understand what's important to God? Those who have faith are called the children of God!!! Do you understand the importance of that title? Do you really think it matters who your physical ancestor is and whether or not you've had sex???? Really??? The description of the 144,000 is so easily related to Christianity, it should be obvious to even the novice Bible student.

We know little about the "lost tribes". Only the tribes of Benjamin and Judah remained relatively intact. It is believed that some of the other tribes joined back in with Benjamin and Judah after the tribes were conquered and separated but many from the other tribes of Israel were simply disseminated around the globe. At that time it was common for the conquering peoples to take the young women as wives and assimilate them.

Here's a little more on the Levites.

We know little about the "lost tribes".

I am just quoting a scripture in the Bible that refers to the 144,000. It does not matter what we know, what matters is what God knows. What part of the word "all" are you having trouble understanding? God is the one that preserved them onto Himself.

I don't think it's talking about genetic purity. I think it's talking about purity of faith among these 144,000 Jewish believers in Messiah Yeshua.

They are obedient to the Lamb wherever He leads, they don't lie, and are "without fault."

Pure genetics are not emphasized. Pure faith in the Lamb of God (Jesus) is. Pure faith glorifies God.

God knows who has Israelite genetics, though, and what tribes people are from. Most people have no idea what tribe they are from today (even if they know they are genetic descendants of Israel), but Cohens are probably Levites (Cohen means priest).
