Ted Cruz is the first Latino to win a caucus or primary. Why isn’t that a bigger deal?

The liberal bias alarm is sounding. Ted Cruz, a Republican senator from Texas, just became the first Latino candidate to win a presidential caucus or primary, and conservatives are complaining that the mainstream media is overlooking the achievement.

"Where is the media on this, right?" Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus said Tuesday in an interview on Fox News Channel. "I mean, this is a big deal."

Maybe because the results are suspect. CNN
"
(CNN)Donald Trump on Wednesday accused Sen. Ted Cruz of stealing the Iowa caucuses, calling for either new voting there or the results to be nullified.

Meanwhile, Ben Carson hit CNN for what he said was an inaccurate report that he was leaving the race on Monday, even though the network only reported that he was heading home to Florida for a short break after the caucuses.

"Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified," Donald Trump wrote a Twitter, one of a series of Tweets attacking Cruz and questioning the outcome of the Iowa caucuses...."

If someone in the Cruz camp spread a rumor that Carson was leaving the race I'd think that would affect votes. The same alleged type rumor could have been spread about Trump also.
Cruz isn't known for the truth so these issues are at issue.

Because minorities only count when they are Democrat.

Does somebody want the media to give him an award?

He was also born in Canada. How come people aren't ecstatic over the fact he was a Canadian?

People were thrilled about Obama winning as the first black president.

Liberals don't like Cruz, though, so they don't care that he is a minority candidate.

And the right has spent the last 8 years complaining and insisting that Obama was not born in America.

Now look at Cruz, from Canada. Hear any complaints from conservatives about him being from Canada? Nope.

And the right has spent the last 8 years complaining and insisting that Obama is not a natural born citizen.

Now look at Cruz, from Canada. Hear any complaints from conservatives now? Nope.

His opponents, mostly Trump, have complained about it frequently.

To be fair, a very small percentage of conservatives ever complained or questioned Obama's legal status.

President....

not winning the Iowa Caucus.

Do you see a difference?

Go ahead and send Cruz an award
We are constantly told the first black, or woman, or Latino whatever, matters because it breaks down barriers and it's White privilege that says those things don't matter. Well, here it seems it doesn't matter to those who previously said those things were impirtant.

Cruz's mother was mostly Irish, not Latino.

Cruz's father's father was from the Canary Islands, Spain.

Just how is Cruz Latio?
Cruz is Cuban-American. His mother was a White Irish I believe. That means his claim to being Latino is about equal to Obama's claim to be Black (they both have White mothers and ethnic fathers)

Winning a caucus or a primary isn't really that big a deal.

It is true. Democrats care more about race than Republicans.

Republicans care about issues.
Republicans love the white race....

After all, most of them are white.

Why can't we have a white history month?
