[Acts 17:11]; These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily whether those things were so.

The Bible says the men of Berea searched out the scriptures to see if these things were so. Whenever Paul preached, they went back home to ascertain the truth of Paul's astounding revelations. That was good. It was excellent. But there is a limitation to that kind of mind.

There is a man who will go back to find out if what you say is true. It is okay. How about another level?-One who knows its true but goes back to search because he is of the thought that 'if the preacher got this from Jehovah God, there must be plenty more where that came from'

While the former might seek a confirmation of things spoken, the latter wants to draw from the source of the man who preached. The former might repeat what was preached. The latter can speak more than what was preached
