Staying in Shape in College/University.

Do you work out in college? Or is work your work-out?

My college has two GREAT fitness facilities and I was running about 4 5Ks a week for a few months. Unfortunately I didn't decide to try to get in shape until the last few months of spring semester so I didn't get to take advantage of the facilities as much as I should have. I really have no excuse either, this past year I had more free time than I've ever had

I take long brisk walks near my home but I also decided to never take the elevator. I take stairs up to the 4th floor constantly which helps a lot.

i workout thats for sure...my p.e class plus my own cardio tapes slim in 6 !~ i didnt gain no weight at school..in fact i lost 21 pounds ! yea

I hardly have any time during the week, even though we have a nice facility. On the weekends, mostly my workout is snowboarding.

We have a very nice facility that includes an indoor track so I can run year round without having to get on a treadmill.

I usually go a 2-3 times a week to the gym during the school and I play basketball at least once a week.

do you like any sports? Look for intramural sports, I'm sure they will help you stay in shape and at the same time help you to have fun.

Work out? I play racquetball, tennis, paintball, and some other sports; I don't think I really need to work out. I'm 6'5" and use to work out; trust me, muscle doesn't come easy for tall people.

I definitely work out. On days I have class I tend to walk 3-4 miles, so don't work out after class, but on days I don't have class I try to do Tae-Bo, DDR, or go to the gym.

Definitely. Being in college has no impact on me working out.

I would find a way to get my exercise even if I had no arms and no legs.
