...Are you high? In any case... just... don't.
Hi,
I am sorry to have offended you. That was Nerd humor. I will refrain.

Hi,
I am sorry to have offended you. That was Nerd humor. I will refrain.
LOVE,
I get a frap 3 or 4 times a year. So that's not an issue.I don't go there because I do like donuts.
I think each one has like five days' worth of calories.
I don't even know what you were saying, and I feel like you kind of... yeah. I like tattoos. I see nothing wrong with them, even view them as a form of art when done right. I don't even know if you were being offensive or not but it caused me some anxiety trying to read what you wrote.
Normally if I know it's a joke, and if it's written well enough for me to understand, then I don't mind. I didn't know if you were making fun of me or not, though. I guess I'm sorry if I made you feel bad since you do seem you were trying to actually just innocently joke, I suppose.
Most of my processing is visual, so when text is confusing, I get confused.
Hi,
I was not making fun of you. I try never to do that.
So, yes I take the blame for writing poorly. I thought the smiley faces would tell you that I was joking.
My humor is caught by few. It is extremely Nerdy, which to me is the way I am, and I take no offense in people calling me that. I have even used the words Nerd-Fest to try and let others in my work group handle the occasional lapses with other Nerds when they drop over and see me from time to time.
When that happened one day, I shocked my entire work crew, as I never let them know my science background. Normally I do not ask people to come to where I am at. I try and work where they are at, so after many years doing that at a place, one of the Engineers walked by my desk, and we swapped Richard Feynman stories as he is one of my favorite Physics guys, as he does not see a need to be confusing when teaching or working.
I eventually had to quit there, as no one even understood the depths of my contributions. Depth of contributions is normally missed, by Production types, and I have been warned, but never understood the problem, until I ran into it by working with and in production for awhile.
I am sorry.
LOVE
Eh well... sorry for snapping at you I suppose. I guess I'm kinda tired too.
Well,... that sounds like you are in a nice location away from large population centers.Ahhh, we don't have those locally. We have Tullys but they are too far away. http://www.tullyscoffeeshops.com
I don't mind joking. It's just I'm autistic so I tend to take things literally, unless you make sure I know you're joking by saying "I'm joking, by the way". But then I might still not understand until further clarification is made. It's just how my brain works. I could snap less, however. I tend to do that a bit frequently.
Its more about commercialism that religion. Multinationals like Starbucks dont care about religion one way or the other. What they do care about is their profits. So if it is deemed that taking Christmas out of the equations is more politically correct and appeals to the majority of their customers then that is what they will do based on a commercial decision. Starbucks also has some halal products to cater for any customers who are Muslims. Their stores in Indonesia are fully halal. So if more customers in the US wanted Halal products the Starbucks would cater to their requests if it meant that they will gain more customers and then more profits. So these big companies are anyone's for the taking and dont have any morals to stand on. They will sell themselves to the highest bidder.
I notice this craziness mainly on here. It's spreading on Facebook too. I have a Christian aunt that used to, or still put Xmas on her Christmas card. But she's the first to complain about Christ being taken out. Probably because she watches to much Hannity and Riley.I don't get why Starbucks or any other company is under any obligation to put Christian symbols on their cups. It's a red cup. That's a holiday color. They have a wide range of customers. We don't go to a coffee shop to buy a cup. We go to buy the coffee. And Starbucks has plenty of other packaging that directly mentions Christmas. But even if they didn't, they are not a Christian company.
Most Christians don't care about this non-controversy. It's discussed on forums and mentioned on blogs and in some media. Other than that, it's not really there except in the minds of a few.

It is true. The X is part of the Greek meaning for Christ and should not be offensive to any Christian. They have been using this abbreviation for centuries and is no way disrespectful to the meaning of Christmas. That has to be it.. Fox (Faux) is keeping people stirred up and they are so good at doing that.
To my understanding the X in xmas stands for Christ in greek..? (don't know if true for sure)
And also to my understanding the former symbols on the infamous cup were winter icons and nothing related to Christianity anyway.
