Well it has turned into a decent day - sunny enough , hot , a few dark clouds [ nothing too bad at present.

Hope it stays decent for tomorrow - Church is across the other side of the country and the weather can be very different - not unknown to be dry here , pouring with rain half way to Church , dry when I get there and then into reverse for the trip home. I always need to have an umbrella with me

Your weather sounds like typical day weather for my home-town area; within a span of 15 miles (30 kilometre radius); we've had multiple seasons and weather patterns. Not as of late though: all bright and shinny skies; except for the storms.

This evening has stunk after a good start to the day. I missed church, but was at the conclusion of a professional meeting that was very inspiring. I needed the pep talk. Now since this afternoon, I've felt a bit not well, and haven't been able to get my blood sugar under 200 no matter what I seem to do, even extra insulin doesn't seem to be hleping, and now tonight (it's appoaching 2am here) i can't seem to fall asleep. I'm just going to put on Ancient Faith radio and try to relax...that usually seems to help.

Well, I'm finally finishing up my AA this year (circumstances beyond my control) and thinking how I'll pay for the rest of my degree. I have barely any money, my family has little more than I do, my extended family most likely won't help, the system to get financial aid assumes that my parents will pay for my education (which they've made clear that they will not help at all), and my brother begins basic training in January. I need a way to pay for college, plus I want to learn Russian and could get both from the Navy.
I've met more Army and Marine idiots than I have idiots from the Navy or Air Force (no disrespect intended to any service people here), but getting ahead in the Air Force takes forever and a day.

Wednesday my brother and I are going to talk to the recruiter and depending on how well that goes depends on how seriously I will consider it. If I decide to than I'm going to wait until I have my AA before going to basic.

About 4 more months before I head back to Korea. Waiting is the hardest part. I even dropped off the paperwork to stay there for two years. Woohoo! Can't wait! I really need to learn Korean, though.

I can take an online class for Korean 101. Out of curiosity, does anyone know how well this will work? Once I get to Korea, I can continue in class, but if it would be beneficial to at least get an intro course done and get at least a basic understanding before I get there, I'd love to do it. It's taught by a Korean and you use microphone, etc. to do it.

You can probably pick up the basics from an online class pretty easily. Learn how to read Hangul as well, it really helps.
