Spiritual retreat?

I have been under a great deal of stress for a while and my priest suggested I go on a short spiritual retreat after the first of the year to reconnect with God and get my prayer life back in order. Does anyone have any suggestions for where I should go? (I would prefer to go in or around Texas so I can afford to stay longer instead of paying to travel.)

After some digging on the web, I found this one - Mount Carmel Center. I haven't heard anything about it, but it's close to me. I'll let you know if I find anything else.


Does anyone else have any suggestions?
