Back in the '80's there was a Contemporary Christian song by a lady that i've been trying to find. The song is a ballad with slow to medium tempo. I know the tune and some of the lyrics of the chorus: "Be Holy, because He is Holy. Be Righteous, because you love the Lord. Be a light......" I have been unsuccessful searching the internet for this song. If anyone on this forum can help me i'd appreciate it

The best I can remember, the rest of the chorus lyrics are something like this:

"be a light for the world to those who live in darkness. Be a lover of the lord because he first loved you."

I was hoping someone out there would've been able to help me with finding more information about this song. Didn't get a reply from Ziwdon after I replied to his/her question. I'm praying someone remembers this song. I live in Southeast Texas and I'm wondering if the song might have only been written and recorded by someone local. If so, this could be why it is so difficult to find and/or get information about it.

If anyone has any information about this I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!!!
