The storm of 1883 that was documented in the Little House book was nothing compared to what we have been seeing.

Hey, the Ice Age is upon us.

And so we have a new term: Snowmaggedon.

What do you call it?

I think they're should've used "stormageddon" (rhymes better with "Armageddon"). But anyway I hate new words. If I were Language Dictator I'd declare a moratorium on all new words. There are too many good old ones that I don't know yet.

Whatever one calls it, some scientists are saying that whereas the Flood caused the extinction of man, an ice age might be the death of many of us.

Already death tolls are mounting in Europe, Asia, and in Japan from the blizzards that are dumping 12 inches or more of snow. The Jet Stream seems to be protecting the USA but diverting the snow onto Europe and Asia. Some people in the last week have been killed when the snow slid of their roofs onto them.
