Ok so in line with my question about the Anti-Christ, I ask this.

What in your opinion is the "city on seven hills"?

Please vote in the poll. If possible even explain your thoughts on it. I have attached a link to the always trustworthy wikipedia on an article in which it lists the cities of the world that are considered as "sitting on seven hills"...

List of cities claimed to be built on seven hills - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Look at all the major players on the end time stage that are listed:

Rome
Jerusalem
Moscow
Mecca
New York City (Staten Island) the financial center of the world is listed...

One that I've even thought of is maybe John meant the world as a whole, you know 7 continents/7 mountains...

What do you think?

What is the place of 7 mountains on which the harlot of Babylon sits?

the seven mountains shown in Rev 17 are the seven main occult fields/areas, while the occult is the "dark" side of the so-called "see" which is bound up with (so to speak) the "dark" side of the "earth" - the occultism is the spiritual way of the "darkness", the idolatry - its religious way, as (for example) the transcendental meditation is rather spiritual in the sense that it is more inner/introverted, while the hinduism is more ritualistic in the sense that it is more outer/extroverted, although the transcendental meditation is also kind of ritual(in this case mental i.e. for the mind), so the "inhabiters of the earth and of the sea"(Rev 12) are (so to speak) the idolaters and the occultists in general, while the seven heads are also (the) seven main devilish spirits which manifest in the form of the so-called seven chakras(occult centers in the bodies of the yogis/occultists/certain hindus/etc.), and (the) yoga/meditation is the greatest occult method and process which is principally concentrated in the sixth chakra a.k.a. the so-called "third eye" that is physically located in the point between the eyebrows (the "king" that is indicated after the first five in Rev 17:10), and there are also 5 high chakras and occult fields/areas which are shown as ten horns of the first beast and two horns of the other, because the seven main chakras become more sublime together with the high chakras(8th,9th,10th, 11th and 12th), for they are the basal therein

Blessings

Did you know that Constantinople sits on seven hills; it was deliberately designed to sit on seven hills. Of course, The Apocalypse of saint John the theologian was written around two hundred years before Constantinople was made the new capital or the Roman Empire (when Revelation was written it was called Byzantium).

Wikipedia said:
The seven hills of Istanbul

The seven hills, all located in the area within the walls, first appeared when the valleys of the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus were opened up during the Secondary and Tertiary periods. In the Ottoman Age, as in the earlier Byzantine period, each hill was surmounted by monumental religious buildings (churches under the Byzantines, imperial mosques under the Ottomans).

The first hill on which the ancient city of Byzantium was founded, begins from Seraglio Point and extends over the whole area containing Hagia Sophia, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque and Topkapı Palace.

On the second hill are to be found the Nuruosmaniye Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Column of Constantine. The second hill is divided from the first by a fairly deep valley running from Babiali on the east Eminönü.

The third hill is now occupied by the main buildings of Istanbul University, the Bayezid II Mosque to the south and the Süleymaniye Mosque to the north. The southern slopes of the hill descend to Kumkapi and Langa.

The fourth hill on which stood the Church of the Holy Apostles and, subsequently, the Fatih Mosque, slopes down rather steeply to the Golden Horn on the north and, rather more gently, to Aksaray on the south.

On the fifth hill we find the Mosque of Sultan Selim. The fifth and the sixth hills are separated by the valley running down on the west to Balat on the shore of the Golden Horn.

On the sixth hill are to be found the districts of Edirnekapı and Ayvansaray. Its gentle slopes run out beyond the line of the defense walls.

The seventh hill, known in Byzantine times as the Xērolophos (Greek: ξηρόλοφος), or "dry hill," it extends from Aksaray to the Theodosian Walls and the Marmara. It is a broad hill with three summits producing a triangle with apices at Topkapı, Aksaray, and Yedikule.

The former name of Rome is Septimontium.
Septimontium is still a festival on 11th December of walking around the seven hills (septi montes) of the ancient city also called that name.

The RCC made this the Day of St Damasus (a Pope).
During his pontificate, Christianity was declared the official religion of the Roman state (AD380).

It may be my imagination but the hills resemble the foot-print of a beast, (heading east, to Babylon?)

The coin was issued by Vespasian depicting Roma enthroned upon the 7 hills of Rome.

The 7 mointains are also 7 heads (Revelation 17:7-10), 7 forms of government, 5 had fallen by John's day, the 6th was the Caesars, one was to come
