We love to talk about sevens here and I just came across this and thought y'all might be interested.

We are now in the month of 'September' on the Roman calendar.

Today, in order, September is the ninth month of the year.

  1. January
  2. February
  3. March
  4. April
  5. May
  6. June
  7. July
  8. August
  9. September
  10. October
  11. November
  12. December
Now the names of these months are based off of Roman gods and goddesses, two each.

  • 1. January: named after Janus, the god of doors and gates
  • 3. March: named after Mars, the god of war
  • 5. May: named after Maia, the goddess of growth of plants
  • 6. June: from junius, Latin for the goddess Juno, aka Queen of the gods or Queen of Heaven
Notice though that
  • February: named after Februalia, a time period when sacrifices were made to atone for sins
April: from aperire, Latin for “to open” (buds)
February is about a time period, and April is an indicator of Spring, or is it?

Now as intriguing as that is, the next 6 months morph from heavenly 'gods' to earthly representations

  • July: named after Julius Caesar in 44 B.C.
  • August: named after Augustus Caesar in 8 B.C.
Interestingly enough, both of these Caesars' or 'Kings' are mentioned in the Bible and in the generation right before the coming of Yeshua.

What follows are the other four months of the year which come from the numbers in the Roman calendar year.

  • September: from septem, Latin for “seven”
  • October: from octo, Latin for “eight”
  • November: from novem, Latin for “nine”
  • December: from decem, Latin for “ten”

However as you can see, September being our modern day ninth month is named for the number 'Seven'.

Why is that?

The earliest Latin calendar was a 10-month one, beginning with March; thus, September was the seventh month, October, the eighth, etc. July was originally called Quintilis, meaning fifth; August was originally called Sextilis, meaning sixth.

Now we know the Biblical year starts in Spring with Aviv which falls somewhere March/April, so that seems to be the same timing as the Roman. However it ends with the Seventh month in Sept/Oct and September is named after the Roman month, meaning Seven.

There's lots to investigate on this alone but I wanted to concentrate on September, and it being called 'Seven'.

There was a Roman named 'Septimius', this is a praenomen, or personal name. It's root is also the same as that for September, Septimus, meaning Seventh. This is similar to the Hebrew word 'Sheba' or 'Sheva'.

Now this Septimius was a Roman Emperor who reigned from 193-211 CE.

The found Arch from the Temple of Ba'al was proposed to be reconstructed in London earlier this year. There was much uproar about it and so instead it was replaced by a reconstruction of the Palmyra Arch or 'gateway' to the temple. This was located in Palmyra, Syria. This was also called the 'Arch of Triumph' or the 'Arch of Septimius Severus'. This Archway linked the Main street of the Colonnade and the Temple of Bel or Ba'al.

This arch was also known as 'Hadrian's Arch' but it was after his death when this was built so is a misnomer. After years it fell to ruin and was only restored in the 1930's and then became a tourist attraction. Then came ISIS......................

(Remember who Elijah fought against and he was the one taken up to heaven. It was the 450 prophets of Ba'al during the times of Jezebel and King Ahab. This time period also was when the L-RD held off the rain for Three and a Half Years. )

Fast forward to May of last year. Palmyra, Syria is captured by the State of Islam and in October 2015 it is reported that the arch was blown up with only a small bit remaining by ISIS.

In March 2016, director of antiquities Maamoun Abdelkarim stated that the Monumental Arch, along with the Temples of Bel and Baalshamin, will be rebuilt using existing remains, a process called anastylosis. According to a Syrian official, reconstructing the arch would not be difficult since many of its stones still survive.

A 20 foot (6.1 m) replica the central part of the Monumental Arch was carved out of Egyptian marble in Italy by machinery using a 3D computer model. The replica was installed in Trafalgar Square, London on 19 April 2016. It will be displayed there for three days, before being moved to a number of other locations, including New York City and Dubai. It is to be sent to Syria afterwards.

While this may not be the original arch that stood in front of the Temple of Ba'al it was one that linked to it and can be called a miniature clone of that one that was destroyed.

It is said to be called the 'Triumphal Arch' which the Romans constructed after their victory over the Parthians. Author Stephen M. Collins has shown that the Parthian Empire was largely made up of people that came from the northern tribes of Israel. So the original purpose of this arch was to celebrate victory over Israel.

This same arch which was on display in London's Trifalgar Square back in April is coming to the US, in just Five days.

It is scheduled to be erected in New York City, in Manhattan by the Institute for Digital Archaeology who on their website states the reason for choosing NYC is (in reference to 9/11) "There are few cities in the world as much defined by their architecture as New York. The Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge—all symbols of the audacity, strength, technical prowess, diversity and optimism of what Ezra Pound called "the most beautiful city in the world." It is also a city that has known terrible loss—first and foremost the loss of life, but also the loss of familiar landmarks that helped inform the city's identity. The Triumphal Arch, a symbol of resilience in the face of loss, will be a fitting tribute to America's great metropolis."

This brings to mind the Twin Towers and also the Towel of Babel. When mankind does not repent when G-d warns but instead shakes their fist at him and declares 'we will rebuild' then surely disaster will follow.

That is what America did after 9/11, there was little repentance and our leaders announced that "we would rebuild' (and be better than before). This brings to mind:
Isaiah 9:10:
"The bricks are fallen down,
but we will build with hewn stones;
the sycamores are cut down,
but we will replace them with cedars."

Now it seems to have been confirmed that after the cancellation of the Arch from the Temple of Ba'al that was scheduled back in April to go up in Times Square, it has been replaced by this event to happen on September 19th.

Read the announcement by the Institute for Digital Archaeology and see for yourself if it doesn't sound similar to what Isaiah wrote, or a 'coming together' against 'extremists'.

When it went up in London last Spring the British news media described it as such:

A monumental recreation of the destroyed Arch of Triumph in Palmyra, Syria, has been unveiled in London's Trafalgar Square.

The 1,800-year-old arch was destroyed by Islamic State militants last October and the 6-metre (20ft) model, made in Italy from Egyptian marble, is intended as an act of defiance: to show that restoration of the ancient site is possible if the will is there.

Now what about all this to do with Seven and September?

The aforementioned Emperor, Septimius Severus whom this arch was named after and whose name it is said is not a common one in Roman history seems to be telling us something.

This arch of Septimus is being installed (a replica) on September 19th in Manhattan at the City Hall Park which is less than a half mile from Ground Zero, where the twin towers fell on September 11, 2001. (See google map here)

Now is that a coincidence?

It is also two weeks before Rosh Hashahna this year.
Or, if you use the calendar in the heavens that I am using instead of the man-made Hillel calendar, then September 19 is the third day of Sukkot.
